Didn't you read Pistons post? No more of this nonsense. All of us double lid guys can keep our double lid grapples and all you single lid grapples guys can keep your single lid grapples. They both obviously work for the owners intended purpose, and that's all that matters. You'd think Obama was trying to ban one type of grapples just looking at all the nonsense over it.

If he wants to post pictures only let him start a group on Instagram. 2) If he wants to write a two page diatribe against other people commenting then he needs to accept that there will be a reply. 3) If you report a post at least ask the moderators to remove ALL the posts that are off topic not just the reply to the diatribe.

Here is one from a few years back when I was clearing a thicket. That is a 60 HP TLB under there to get a feel for the size of the pile. I had a heck of a time climbing out to take the picture.

The video posted by 94bullet? That looks like a terrible tractor grapple. That would be way better suited for an excavator. And if our double lid grapples cost lift capacity, that thing is far worse. A knuckle boom loader could have moved that pile of logs in about 45 seconds.

There are better designs for smaller machines. That was the only video I could find at the time. There is a guy on another forum that has one he uses on a toolcat.

I am really digging back years to come up with what I can, just not taking the time much anymore to get off the tractor and snap a pic. This grapple turned out to be an irrigation pipe hauler in a pinch. Almost forgot about using it for that. The rear downriggers stabilized the other end of the pipes.
