Yep. Here's the wooden swathboard I made for my old Allis Chalmers 80T sicklebar mower.



It's about 20" long, 6" wide.

Yes sir, I have also heard them refered to as swathboards and some parts books call them dividers. Neithertheless, swathboard or divider, I think he needs one.

I have no advice to give but i am in your same situation--just about a year behind. my day job is "doctor".

I am teaching myself how to hay on my 10 acres--with input from anyone i can question.

i have a JD 348 square baler bought at auction last year that i haven't fired up yet-- i'm greasing and learning about it. I am getting more comfortable with my 65 hp JD tractor and have used my vermeer cutter once.
