My best wood heating is the ceramic tile oven site built at the home in Austria...
It uses tech hundreds of years old and even meets the stringent Euro Rules for emissions...
Only draw back is there is no such thing a cranking up the heater... it takes many hours from stone cold to bring it up to temp... but it also holds heat and very efficient with wood and my main heat source...
In 1982 it cost $4400 and I had already built the chimney...
It is fired from the stair well on the back side
