Here ya go. A heavy duty box blade. They don’t get much tougher than a Bison commercial duty implement. I have their rear blade and I haven’t seen an equal match.

Here ya go, a little heaver duty industrial unit that is also available in 88"& 96" sizes.

Cammond 4C5 series. Scroll to the end of the lists to see the specs, and they offer these with manual or hydraulic actuated shanks. Nice to have that option with this type of unit.

I don't think Bison was the brand I was trying to remember. However - they are certainly HD and they do have hydraulic scarifiers.

If you will be needing to adjust the scarifiers frequently - hydraulic is sure the way to go. I can definitely verify - manual adjustment of eight scarifiers is a PITA.

I'm looking for a HEAVY duty land plane. Several years ago, I purchased the largest version EA had, and it was great. I sold that farm a few years ago along with all implements. I just purchased a new farm, and along with the massive sticker shock of equipment these days, I was equally unprepared to find that EA was defunct. I would have ordered another land plane immediately, as the last was great.

Anyone have a good heavy alternative for an 84-96" landplane? I'd prefer one with scarifier shanks as well, if possible.

I have not done the research for a 8' land plane. However for a 7' The heaviest are the following
MK Martin LP778, 1240 lbs, has hydraulic scarifiers. Land Plane

Never seen one with retractable scarifiers. That would be a nice feature.

MK Martin makes one. It is the only one I know of.

I have a "Road Boss" Key features are serrated front blade that digs in. Never needed any extra weight. Replaceable skid shoes, Most important, adjustable blades to compensate for wear. Simple heavy duty piece of equipment. I got mine when demo'ed at my farm. Worked so well, I bought it on the spot 20 years ago.
