What JT doesn't tell us is how many cars he's also traded for in the few years he's been hanging around this forum. Me thinks the FBI or IRS will be investigating him for some money laundering scheme soon :D

Sales tax paid on auto purchases is now deductible from taxes. So, I do notify the IRS of Auto purchases in order to get the sales tax exemption and it has been averaging 2 to 3, sometimes, per year but I think I have finally gotten the right combination of autos and truck (truck doesn't pull like I want but Traverse will) and tractors now so some one else is going to have to do their share of stimulating the economy. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.:)

I was thinking maybe to just go ahead and place my order with John for a B2320 or B2620. That way, in about 11 months and 55 hours of use, I'd stop by and pick it up. He'd be ready 'bout then anyhow to swap things around. He'd get the thrill of the deal and I'd get a like new B with the first bit of depreciation knocked off. What say, John, we work on this a bit? :D:D

Listen closely, the first thing to do is ADMIT YOU HAVE A PROBLEM! Pick up the phone now and call Kubota's Anon. They can help, but it is a 3 step process. You will have to go to weekly meetings, and they don't allow tractor talk at these meetings.

Done done if you'll take the B3200 I traded in a couple of months ago with under 50 hours. It's waiting on you to call Barlows.:)

I was ready to sign up for this but if you can't talk Botas, I ain't going!!!:confused2: What about cars, can you talk cars? By the way, my problem has just been solved or resolved. I now have the right combination of Botas and I'm done trading or buying. I'm done. Finished. No more. I'll wave at Barlows when I drive by, maybe stop in for fluids and filters and possibly drink a Coke with them.:D No more, that was the old John. New John is settled in for the duration. You'll soon forget about the John that bought/sold/traded 11 times in six years. There will be talk of him in years to come and people will say "I've heard about a guy but I can't hardly remember the details". I'm done. I'll be mowing in the sunset and occasionally removing the BH on the BX25 to install impliments. You guys better support Barlows because they ain't getting any more of my tractor purchases dollars.
If I buy more property, will another tractor purchase count against this firm, absolute declaration?;)

I'll just file this statement away where I keep my tractor pictures, project pictures, and other things I find I need to "whip out" at a moment's notice every 6 months or so.

We'll see. I have my own prediction on how long "never" will last. This time, at least.

John Thomas will soon tire of changing the BH out for 3PH implements and then sense the "need" for another tractor. He'll find a good logical explanation for this "need", like saving time on the change over or less stress on the machine (or himself). In the end, my prediction is another Kubota of some sort in the next 12 months. The odds are in my favor here:thumbsup:.

John, you did it again? I'll have to come down there and drive that bad baby.:licking:
I did trade the BX2660 FEL MMM. Used it today to mow a bit and it has 82 hours on it. Thought it had less but I guess I got lost in building my garden and moving my topsoil up the hill and cleaning off part of the hill side. New F3080 4wd should be here when I return from Indiana next week. I've used the F2680 to mow the rental property except for today. I used the BX2660 since I had moved the F2680 to my house to see how it would do on hillsides.
I had taken the BX out to the rental property to till the tenants a garden. BX is great for tractoring and good for mowing but the F is a spoiler for mowing, can't be beat.
Your welcome to come any time to drive it. You can just put it in gear, drop the mowing deck, engage the blades and test drive it all over my yard, just go over different parts of the yard and not the same spots.:)
Course this is it, I'm done. I've finally reached what I've been working toward and for only an additional $400 over new book to new book and mine was a year old. Steve Barlow found me some company incentives to help make the deal. I also had to buy the 3ph arms for the BX25 for another $200 because I didn't get them with the BX25 since I had the BX2660.
Plows still where you set it. Almost used it last week but just did multiple passes with the tiller for a new garden bed.

You know, this does make alot of sense!!!! But you better not bet more than you can stand to lose on this one.:D Now, if a steal on a used tractor were to come my way I'm not saying I wouldn't take it for the reasons you mention but not expecting that to happen. Course with 0% interest it doesn't make alot of sense some times to buy used instead of new.
