I'll just file this statement away where I keep my tractor pictures, project pictures, and other things I find I need to "whip out" at a moment's notice every 6 months or so.

We'll see. I have my own prediction on how long "never" will last. This time, at least.
Put it with the other times I've said it Keith. But this time I think it's true. A wave, parts and maybe a Coke and conversation. That's all for me and Barlows. Not counting implements and stuff.:)

JT, So, your joining me as a BX25 user with no mower! Great!
Shall I post pics on BH quick off & on?:laughing::laughing:
Did you also buy PATS? New driveshafts? (different lengths?)
Had to ask dealer to deliver my tiller shaft uncut to allow for PATS!
See, I learned fron you! Now about the BX25 Service ....
Enjoy the extra seat time as no more bota shopping. :D

I sold my Pat's and have a set of the cheaper easy/quick off and on QH's and another set of the cheaper easy/quick off and on QH's that let the implements sit on top of them(arms) or under them (arms). I took my tiller off of my BX2660 today to have it ready for pick up and left the QH's on the tiller, just pulled the pins from the arms and they dropped down. With the QH's that set on top my drive shaft works. Will include pictures. The BX25 is one of the reasons I traded. It became to easy to use the BX25 for FEL and BH work and the BX2660 for mowing that I decided to get a dedicated mower and share the BX25 with business and home which wipes out part of my tax write off.:)
Will need pics of BH removal and reattach. Will also watch the videos but pics and instructions also are good supplements.

Glad to see your go to go!
The BX25 has printed instructions for removing & installing the BH!
They are located just below the joysticks facing the rear facing seat!
Great for us older folks that forget things, if you remembered your reading glasses. Look below the warnings.
Congrats, in advance, on hitting 2000 posts!

I've got 25 hours on my BX25, can't believe I put that many on it so quick. Used it today to haul front bucket loads of water and 4 80lb bags of sakrete and dig a spot for my wifes water barrel and fill in around a post set in the ground with clay on top of the sakrete. Allso have it waiting by back deck to haul boxes to burn pile.
Thanks for where instructions are and will have to have reading glasses. Watched Messicks video and wrote down extend arm, unhook pins, let down tractor, extend feet, pull forward, turn off and unhook hoses. Sounds and looks simple. Will see. Didn't even notice number of posts.

I have to make a correction. I said a ZD may beat the F on a blacktop parking lot. I'd said that not looking at the actual factory advertised speeds for each machine. I'd heard the "It's a nice mower, that F, but a ZD is faster" so many times I'd started believing it. I know that I keep my F2680 in the Turtle setting and it will fly, does alot faster than I can go and hold on. I'm afraid the Rabbit speed will make my nose bleed.:)
Since I'm waiting on the delivery of the F3080 4wd I was looking at the Kubota 2009 FULL LINE BROCHURE. Out of curiousity I looked at the F speed which is 12.5MPH and at the fastest Kubota ZD which is 10.6MPH. Now to me, 12.5mph is faster than 10.6 by a pretty substantial percentage. Bottom line, no more accepting that a ZD is faster than a F. Aren't Factory Brocures educational as well as pretty to look at.:) Better get my delivery pretty soon before who knows what I'll do next.;)

John, one of the things that made removing, and reinstalling my BX backhoe easier was for me to just remember that it pivots off, and on resting on the bottom two pins. At first I tried to lift it on more, and that caused problems. The other really helpful thing is to take the extra time to get the tractor aligned with those two bottom pins as well as you possibly can before starting the install......... just goes so much smoother. I'm sure you will have no trouble.

John,
Congrat's on your new baby! I've only been around a short time, and have to be careful that I don't get the bug you have. My wife has been great with me spending time in the pasture on my B2920 "mowing?". Thank God for the cup holder! But if I start talking about my next tractor she may have me living in the barn. John, you are the "Tractor Man's" Man :) Best of luck and say hi to Brady for me when you see him!

Thanks for the tip. I know the FEL was supposed to be so easy but it was a nightmare for me and then the hoses wouldn't go back on due to the built up pressure but I hope BH goes better. Thanks again.

Thanks! I'm actually losing a tractor but still buying a Kubota but will still have one tractor.

JT>>>why did you settle on the F3080? Why not the 2680? Do you feel you need the extra hp or what??:)
