New Member. Having my 2000 JD 4700 serviced before I take ownership on Saturday. Hard to wait, but well worth it. Have been looking for log skidder ideas, and your site is very helpful. The member that described the Northern Tool Pallet Mover, as the frame for the home made 3pt skidder looks perfect.

There is a lot of info available here through the search function, plus folks seem pretty patient with answering repeat questions if you can't find the answer in an old thread.

The safety threads are well worth reading if this is your first tractor. We've all had our close calls.
