Another update. Called the aervice manager last night and they had a cv valve on order that was to arrive last night. Called again just now and it didn't fix the pto. He was going to call Deere and ask them for advice. He said the pto clutch wasn't holding pressure whatever that means.

I'm not sure how this all ties in to the big picture. If its not fixed by Monday they will have had it 2 weeks in the shop.

Maybe if it takes 3 weeks to get the PTO to spin properly.

Then 4 hours to change the tires isn't bad.

Bobcat isn't building tractors anymore but.....
I have 189 hours on my CT-235 and it has been back to the dealer one time, for less than 8 hours. They picked it up after I had left for work, and it was sitting in the driveway when I arrived home that evening

What was the work that took such a short time?

Just for back from land. They dropped the tractor and cutter off at 5 this evening. When they called me at 4 to tell me they had everything fixed they originally wanted to deliver it Tuesday, but I asked for this evening so I could get some work done this weekend.

Initial impression is that everything is in order. The wheels are as wide as they can be. The pto starts and stops as expected. The cutter doesn't have any perceptible vibration.

The pto problem was a relief valve spring. According to the service manager they put in a new spring and shimmed it some and that fixed it. The meter shows 16 hours now so whatever they did it took 5 hours of running to diagnose and test.

When I found out it was done, I spoke with the salesman again. He said his plan was to hold the service fee for the wheel change to $150-200 and get Deere to warranty the rest including the cutter. If that's how it goes ill take it. I told him of not I would be willing to accept some of the responsibility of the cutter but I would want the wheel change written off since that was part of my original request. Ill wait and see what Deere says.
