help identifying chinese excavator fitting

I'm adapting a chinese excavator smooth face tilt bucket to my Kubota BH92 backhoe. MEchanically, it actually was pretty easy. I'll document that success separately.

Now I need to adapt the tilt cylinder hoses to common Ag couplers. Attached two pics. The first is the hose end. Can't really measure much about it. The second is the cylinder fitting. The outside thread appears to be a M18x1.5. The inside, where the o-ring seats is slightly tapered. The big end is 0.545" or about 13.8mm and tapers to 0.478" or about 12mm. I need to source an adapter that goes from the hose end to probably an NPT fitting.

Of interest, the other side of the cylinder adapter is an o-ringed M14x1.5 I can find a M14x1.5 to JIC fitting, but then, I need new hoses. The JIC adapters I could find were expensive as well. I did find a pack of 10 on e-bay, but I got an e-mail from the vendor saying that the o-rings were cracked and damaged and he will refund my money. Otherwise, I was looking $35-$40 for a couple of fittings including shipping.

A little bit, but not really. It would appear that I would need an L18 to npt fitting, and while the thread size would be correct, nothing I have found yet tells me the dimensions where the 0-ring would seat. Only thing I find is how hard lines fit.

Have you looked into Surplus Center? They have pre made JIC hoses with choice of nominal or 1+ end connections. Also lots of adapters to choose from.

Surplus Supply is my go-to for most things. But they do not have metric fittings. If they did, they would be cheap and already on the way.

How bout getting the M14x1.5 - JIC and then to SC hose and dont look back?

Because I didn't like the price of the adapters and I have a hard time just tossing perfectly good (but weird connectored) hoses in the trash. If I could just adapt the hoses I have to NPT, I'd be golden.

But, your suggestion is back-up plan #1. I was finding fittings at $10 each, but $20 shipping.

I like their paper catalog, but beyond that they've gotten crazy with shipping. Yesterday I worked up a small order, 3- 3/8" hoses all #6 jic swivels and the longest one was 48". They're not known for fast order shipping, and $26 dollars shipping was more than the order. I can do better than that getting them made locally.
Summit hydraulic and discount hydraulic hose have been what I use lately, but no nice paper catalogs.

Me too. As for shipping, I havent paid enough attention. I usually order about $100 worth or up. Maybe $26 is sort of a minimum S/H charge, and it just edges up slowly from there?
