It moves!!!! It's amazing what a little heat will do. Or was it the WD40, or the tapping or the 15 inch crescent wrench? At any rate now that I can tighten or loosen the "flow control screw" What does it do for me? Does full in stops the flow? Or give me more pressure? I've tried lifting the bush hog then screwing it full in slowing the engine revs and the bush hog went straight down.

You never want to connect the pressure gauge to the pump outlet as then there is no relief valve in the circuit and the pump will break as the pressure exceeds its design limits.

Can you post any literature from your manual for the rear hydraulics. Usually there is a place where a line can be run to an external cylinder like on a dump trailer. A screw might be tightened down inside the rear unit thus blocking the flow to the lift cylinder of the 3 pt and directing it to the dump trailer cylinder, The dump cylinder would be controlled by the same valve as controls the lift cylinder.

The flow control screw, if that is what it is and not a valve for another purpose, has as its job slowing or blocking oil from leaving the cylinder. So the cylinder is held in whatever position it was when you shut the valve or, if the valve is partially open, oil leaving the cylinder will be restricted in how fast it leaves the cylinder thus slowing its decent. It does not affect oil from the pump as it just dumps into the reservoir when not needed

The only literature I have is a parts manual. An not a very clearly printed one. I'll scan it and see how that comes out.

No web sites yet although I am steady looking. No on line support at all that I can tell. Year model??? late 70's to mid 80's maybe. I was told that the year model is some one part of a "serial number" on the tractor. Not sure which number as there are numbers all over this thing.
I got a parts manual from Southern Global Tractor Parts and a PTO shaft seal. I later found the same seal for 1/3 the cost at Auto Zone. I found autopartoo.com which let me put the number from the seal in their page and cross referenced to a lot of manufactures equivalents this is how I found the seal at A.Z. It's a Felpro seal

I am curious if the pto, when viewed from behind the tractor, turns clockwise or counter clockwise.

Clockwise is the North American practice but Asian practice is counter clockwise when the product is intended for Asian mts.

Some Asian market intended machines are privately imported into North America.

Knowing this info might be a clue.

My experience has been that Asian market only tractors don't even show up in some North American Google parts searches as they were never intended to be here.

The forum has members in Australia and they might help searching from their side of the world and then send the link back here. I will ask once you post about the pto.

Pretty sure counterclockwise. I've also been told that this is a gray tractor, so imported from Asia for sale here.

I did find a PDF file at Pitt Auto Electric Company that gives a lot of good info about Mitsubishi and Satoh tractors on their home page there is a link that says "We're Also the US parts distributor for Mitsubishi Agricultural Machinery" that will take you to the PDF

I went to the link you provided above. In the pump section, the most expensive pump for Mitsubishi tractors which were sold in the USA is $4,649.80.
The cheapest was $956.23.

I had recently helped a man with a LENAR tractor loader backhoe, a sort of Kubota B21 from China.
His hydraulic pump, which served the backhoe and FEL, was weak. A new hydraulic pump for his tractor in the USA was $75,

I looked for Mitsubishi Tractor on ebay and found this "factory original WSM for sale. 389 pages.

New Mitsubishi MT18D Tractor Service Manual | eBay

If you think this manual is for a tractor even close to yours it might be an invaluable resource as you certainly would think twice if you had to spend $4,649.80 for a new pump.

Could you please photo any nameplates on your tractor. Its engine, tractor frame and any hydraulic pump or valve which might have one.

Have you read through the orange forum's Gray section. If not you should and pay particular attention to the first post entitled Sticky. My user name on that forum is Dave_eng.

Gray Market & Zennoh - OrangeTractorTalks - Everything Kubota

Knowing if your tractor is close to one of the Gray tractors on that forum would be useful as well.

I went back to your first post as I often find it has very important info for people like me who zoom on details in order to give advice.

You said: "I've finally got the water out of the system and discovered that that didn't solve my problem. I have to rev the engine very high to get the 3-point to pick up the bush hog or anything that I hook to it. Even at higher revs the thing still leaks down and will not pick it up until I work the lift lever down and back up. Is the pump weak or the lift cylinder worn out?
This is my first tractor and I'm not up to speed of the where and why of things hydraulic."

How long have you had this tractor and did the hydraulics deteriorate gradually or suddenly?

If your tractor has a counter clockwise GRAY pto, how are you managing to run a bush hog as it would seem you would be turning it backwards?

I think some photos of the tractor from many angles, up close and complete machine are necessary to fully understand your tractor.
