The CC Company said they could open a case but it is highly unlikely I would re-coup my payment.
The seeder was indeed unusable as received. I have since straightened out the damaged parts and it's now in usable condition. I spent about 1/2 day straightening and adjusting to get it to work properly. Once the planting season is over I will powdercoat the steel parts and move on. At $100 return shipping I decided is was best to keep it. I've purchased many things over the internet in the past and this is a first with all these issues and lack of customer support.
