this is a loader im building for my john deere gator cs. it will be all winch

operated. the reason why it is mounted on the back is that it was easyer

and also because the back is stronger.

what do you guys think of it

just to let you know im only 13

Cool looking loader, one thing to think about is being careful that cable does not snap under preasure and come back and get you.

I would weld up a shield or guides.

If that cable were to snap, unlikely it would get you, but you never know.

Your pivots on your lift arms are MUCH weaker than your lift arms which look great. You probably ought to have a piece on each side of the arm and up the size of your pivot pins on the gator mounting side. Unless you use some sort of bushing in the box tube you will get some rapid wear there at the pivots. You nicely bracketed the bucket mounting point. What are you going to use to curl/dump your bucket? I believe that your pin size in this area should be increased too with the addition of some sort of bushing.

One other area that seems inadequate from the picture is the support under the plate that you are mounting this too. What holds the front of the plate down and the rear of the plate up? Your winch arm's rear support seems to be hanging on air. I
The idea and construction are great. The bracing under the joint in the boom arms and the twist bracing between arms is perfect. I would be concerned how the mounting plate was attached to the Gator and how your lift arms are attached to the plate and bucket.
