Homemade Tracked mini dumper

Hello. I want to share my new project, it will be tracked mini dumper.

As used gear rear axle of a motorcycle. It has a built-in differential and reverse.

I will use differential turn, that will be installed on each disc brake tracks. Stopping the left, the right will spin and thus will run turn dumpers.



Tracks are made of old tires from the truck. I cut out the treadmill and cut a new tread.

I began to collect all the parts into a whole

I will be able to go near dumpers, or ride it standing. For this made footrest, if desired it can hide.

Homemade gearbox has 2 speeds, would be 2 speeds forward and 2 back.

That my friend is a great piece of machinery. The idea with using the tire for a track is a new one for me and a good idea.

I need to find me a tire from an old logging skidder and make some tracks for my skidsteer. :thumbsup:

Installing the engine. Two stroke gasoline engine, 100cc 5 horsepower. I know it's a bad idea, but I do not have another engine. The engine made in 1982, but I set a new piston with the cylinder seals and bearings. After I'll change the compression ratio, set a petal valve and a new carburetor.

How far are you from Kharkov? I have family there. What about Dnepropetrovsk? My brothers girlfriend lives there.

The tire is an excellent material for making tracks, it is readily available and cheap. And pretty strong, in the rubber is steel wire rope, synthetic yarn.

In the front wheels is screw for adjustable tension caterpillars. In order to not slipped caterpillar in future I set metal guide plate. Now the lack of free time, so the project was suspended. Later I will show to be a lot of photos and videos.
