Update on hours per year. The 1999 Kubota L3710 HST has about 750 hours on it. It had about 350 hours when I bought it 2003 and I've only put 400 hours on it in 15 years for an average of about 27 hours per year.

Interesting differences among the posters. Considering four tractors over the last 20 years (no two owned at the same time), I think we have averaged about 50 hours per year.

1984 L2550DT with approximately 5800 hours. 168/year. Not much use really.

My last tractor, a B2910 had just under 1900 hours when I traded it in. Bought new in 2001, average is about 112 hours per year.

My new tractor, a B2650 has about 132 hours in about 9 months, average about 176 hours per year.

I still get a big smile when I crawl in my tractor, it never gets old. :):cool2:

BX2370 purchased in January 2017, now at about 120 hours most of which I attribute to putting in a horse arena spreading and levelling packing sand.
Not complete yet and another zillion truckloads of sand to put on after winter so that will double the hours, after that it will just be a few hours maintaining property, repairing fences and moving heavy stuff around.

BX24 with almost 500 hours. I put 100 hours per year for just over four years. Previous owner put 10 hours per year. The tractor has been a godsend. I can complete projects I would have to hire a contractor for. It’s just plane fun to have around as a tool. Being able to execute a project as soon as I have thought it through is great.
