Good info so far... the
L3200 looks to be a fine tractor.
Jodebg, have you considered shopping different colors? In this size-range, there are a lot of great options that are worth comparing. JD, Kubota, Mahindra, NH, LS, Kioti, etc ... they all spec pretty close and some are better at certain things than others.
For example, if you compare with LS tractors, the Kub
L3200/
L3800 compares almost directly with the LS G3033/3038 tractors. Here's how they spec against each other (all 4x4 3-range HST) [all specs obtained from each makers website]:
...............................................
L3200... -
L3800... - G3033... - G3038
HP/PTO: .................................. 31.9/25.2 - 37.4/30.3 - 33/26 - 38/31
Total Hydraulic Pump output (GPM): 10.5..... 10.1...... 11.9....... 11.9
3 pt Lift capacity (at 24" aft):...... 1435#... 1435#... 1808#... 1808#
Weight (not including loader):....... 2623#... 2668#... 2612#... 2690#
Loader lift max height (at pins):.... 94.3"..... 94.3"..... 90.7"..... 90.7"
Loader lift max weight (at pins):... 1131#... 1131#... 1600# ... 1600#
Loader breakout force (at pins):... 2462#... 2462#... 2628#... 2628#
So in this particular comparison... the tractors are extremely close spec wise. The LS has a slight advantage in Hydraulic output (13% more output), 3pt Lift rating (25% more) & Loader LIFT (41% more) capacities. The Kubota loader will reach 3.6" higher (4%) than the LS loader. Using straight comparisons like this will show you where each make/model will outshine the other. And to be sure, each tractor will have advantages when you compare them in this way. (regardless of color)
The difference will be price. Folks are getting that G3033 HST new for around $15,000 ... and the G3038 HST new for around $16,500 (approx).
You may do a bazillion different comparisons like this, and end back up favoring a Kubota... or you might decide on something else --- but do yourself a favor and check out machines from at least 3 or 4 different makers. You may find something you like better about one of them, regardless of whether it's green, blue, red, orange, yellow ... etc ... and you may be able to save several thousand $$$ in the process, and get a better/longer warranty to boot! Everyone here will support whatever decision you make... it's your money! But shop around and sit on different rigs. You might like the way the Mahindra seat feels, or you may find the JD loader joystick in a more comfortable position etc etc etc ... You may sit on a Kubota
b2920 and prefer the operators area to the
b2710.
