How do you dispose of your old hydraulic oil

This occured to me as well. So far I haven't tried it. Anybody had experience?

I had a gallon of fresh UTF left over, so added half a gallon to 2 or 3 gallons of diesel in the tank. It cranked slightly longer before starting then ran fine. It had a faint smell of overheated transmission. No problems. I am assuming that hydraulic and UTF burn about the same.

I do the same thing. My ground is sooooooo soft that the fire engines (tired for asphalt) get stuck. The City apprecaites the call. I even give them my cell #.

I have to get a burn permit and the pile cannot exceed 3'x3'x3'.
I just keep my FEL loader ready and keep stoking the fire as it shrinks below 9 cu ft.

I have a very large stump that has a few crevaces starting to rot in the top of it... I pour the oil down in there, and I still haven't burned very much of the stump in four years!

Dispose of ?? I thought that hyd. oil was a part of the cycle of nature. It slowly dissapears from the hoe, and in due time it will pe pumped up from some oil well, in my case, the north sea.
