I'm lost when it comes to electrical stuff.

I have the bx2670.
I know I would like to add some extra led flood lights. Two on the side of the ROPS, and one one the back.

I just have no idea how I am supposed to wire it up.

Can someone explain, in simple terms as I have no idea what the electrical terms mean, how to wire these up.

Thanks in advance guys

Unless there has been a change on these newer models (which I doubt), there is a handy set of wires available behind your seat all set up to use. Here is a thread with some pictures to show how it can be done: http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/kubota-owning-operating/227974-work-light-2.html
I have a BX2370 and the spare wires are down near the 3ph lift. However, I recently installed Kubota's LED kit and it tied into the tail-light circuit. This leaves the spare wires for something else.

That's may even be better! Do you happen to have a picture of it after the kit installation? I assume these are work lights that mount on the ROPS?

If your bx2670 is like the other Kubotas I have added lights to, that work light circuit is unswitched. It is likely fused for 10 amps, so that's plenty for three lights. You may want two switches- one for the forward lights, one for the rear light. Your fuse block should have a "work light" fuse marked- and the wires going to the rear of the fenders are yellow, I think. There have been a lot of LED threads, mine included, over the past few years. Go for it, it's cheap and easy light.

I have an 1860 and I put on a set of the LED lights on the sides of the roll bar. I purchased them from the Kubota dealership. There are power wires behind the tail lights on my unit. These power wires are switched with the light switch, and they have an on/off switch on them to kill them if you do not wish them on with the regular headlights.

Thanks all.
I understand that you can plug them into the work light connector at the back of your tractor :)

I guess I'm trying to figure out what supplies I need to put it all together. Ie wiring, connector, switch. etc. The ones I have looked at have two wires. What type of wire would I need to connect one end (where the lights are) to the other end where my work connector is?

I'll get there.... even if it is slowly

Gogo- this is really simple. If you can wait a week or two, go onto eBay, find some switches, some 16 or 18 gauge stranded hookup wire (I use red for power, black for the ground- pretty much anywhere on the chassis works), and some mounting hardware for the lights themselves. You might want 4 lights- especially if you will be doing much rear driving at night- for another 10 bucks, you can have two rear lights.

You will want some plastic corrugated wire loom, too. Or, if you have a Princess Auto close by, they will have everything you need. I would absolutely buy the lights from eBay or Amazon- (just search for 27 watt LED flood lights) - the more expensive ones being offered by dealers and specialty shops are the same lights, as far as I can tell, so why waste your money? Unless you are driving on the road at 15+ mph, go for 27W floods, which will throw plenty of light far enough for you to see well where you are headed. When you search for LED light threads, you will see plenty of ways to install them on the ROPS. I have used angle mounts I made, bolted to the hinge parts of the ROPS, where there were sometimes already holes I just tapped, in other cases, I just drilled and tapped some 1/4 28 holes- plenty strong, small enough not to weaken anything. Photo shows some alum. angles I cut to shape for mounting just where I wanted the lights. I added sidelights since I drive thru wooded areas to snowplow.

Here's a link for some suitable, easy to install switches:

Gogo, take a look under your fenders, just below the yellow flashers. There might be a yellow (?) wire (one per side) that just ends in a female bullet terminal- nothing plugged into it. When you tractor's key is turned on, or the tractor is running, there should be 12v at that terminal- nothing when the tractor is off. At least that has been what I found on my three Kubotas. In the fuse block, there is a fuse marked "work lights" or something like that, which is the circuit for the rear lights. Could be used for front lights, just as well, of course, depending. It is not a switched circuit- if the tractor is "on" the circuit is hot. You will want to switch it, I think. You will need a simple voltmeter to trace this stuff properly. When you get some lights, the red wire hooks up to the 12V positive power supply, the black wire to ground, which could be about anything on the tractor's frame/ metal fenders, etc. since they all are mechanically fastened together. I have simply put a ring terminal under a fender bolt head, and that works for ground.

Varmint...

Thanks. I have to do some work today on the tractor. I'll take a look.
As per wattage. What can I hook into these? What is the total amount of wattage I can go look for on amazon?

Gogo,

I have a 2015 B2650. Just finished installing LED work lights. There was a label attached to the "work light" wire under the seat that stated 120W max. Which, at 12VDC, equates to 10A total. This would make sense seeing as how this feed is tied into a 10A fuse on the panel. I'm guessing that the work light circuit on the BX is rated for the same load. I installed 3 lights @ 27W each for a total of 81W and 6.75A. Two forward firing spots and one rear flood all controlled by a single, lighted, weatherproof switch rated at 15A. Good luck with your install.

Regards,
Duber

Just looked under the yellow flashers. No sign of an extra plug. Everything matches up in twos. Two to the brake lights, two to the yellow flashers.

DUBER. I did find a cable going from the back of the tractor to under the seat. I have no idea what it is connected to under the seat. I do know its not a seat warmer.
Would my manual show me where this wire is? (I would have to dig it out from the manual box)

Right behind your seat, couple inches down, you'll see a group of wires contained in black flexible plastic conduit. In the first picture on the linked page below, it is the one with white tape around it. Ignore the one in my hand, that's what I added to run wire to the lights.

Down toward the bottom of that conduit (in the picture) you'll see a glob of black electrical tape - in the pic I've already unwrapped my tape. Unwrap the tape and you'll have those two wires, red hot/black negative, ready to go.

GOGO ok forget the under seat, stand behind your Bx and look at the rear PTO. To the left is a wire loom, you may see a bulge in that loom. That's where they placed additional connectors.

The connector for the work light should look like this.

Crap.. I wonder what I pulled apart then?

This is what I see from behind the tractor. Also.. I seem to have lost my rear red tail lights. Checked the fuses.. seem fine. Wonder what I did?

Well, durn. If you pulled any wires apart, put em back together. In your picture, there are green butt connectors with two red wires. Are they connected to anything as in dead ended? I also see a black wire behind the red ones. Is it connected to anything?
