Yep,today we have had a 15-20 m.p.h. wind coming right from your direction.Coupled with the 104 temp. it's like walking outside into a furnace.

It's really put the "burn" on everything today /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Oops i forgot we've gotten maybe 3" of snow in the past 5 years. when we want to see snow we go to gatlinburg unless that it's ice..
I guess when you get 40-60" or like i did one year going to west side of mi had 3' of snow overnight it's a different story ah?

Here's some.

We are 18 miles northwest of Charlotte (Seattle East). Charlotte has had 56 inches so far (avg. is 41) with four months to go.
We have had 64 inches here at the house so far. It's hard to grow veggies with too much or too little rain. Maybe next year.

Yes. The hay crop is horrible this year. What little rain there was only came down as everyone tried to cure it.
Very bad year.

If you have it and are selling it could be a good year.

A "small" El Nino has been affecting weather in the US (and Pacific - but not the tropical zone of the Atlantic yet - this "big year" for hurricanes has been fairly quiet). Anyhow, we've had rain at least every other day in coastal South Carolina. I have to pick my times to brush cut so I don't bog down. Sorry about your dry weather.

No rain here in sight for 7 days i think next season if it we get rain like we did this year i'm going to start planting a bunch of trees. I just set some out and some corn out about 3 weeks ago and poof the rain stops /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

hopefully it'll help the corn out the first planting was pretty bad if the cracks don't swallow it up /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
