How many have concealed carry permit to carry a gun ?

I got mine as a convenience, since the sidearm I carry in the woods is not always visible. I have a S&W 642 that I can load with +P, but my country gun is a 686 loaded with .357 158gr jhp.

In Indiana we call it a License To Carry a Handgun it is a lifetime license the cost is right around $120. I've had mine for 24 years since I moved here, my wife son (22) and daughter (18) all have them as well and we all carry every day, in our travels.

Interesting that they need to advertise it. My rod and gun club teaches a weekly class with a max class size of 20. It is booked solid for the next 3 months. One radio ad like that, minus the political slime, would fill up the classes for a year.

Edit: The more I think about this the more upset I get. This jerk doesn't believe in the 2nd Amendment. If he doesn't like how you vote, or how you pray, or how you look, as far as he's concerned you don't have any rights. He's just another gun grabber flying a lone star flag.

Bought a lifetime permit in Indiana to carry. Worth the money. Many reasons to conceal a gun. Weather in the city or woods! Makes things legal in all respects. Everyone be safe!

OK, I should probably keep my mouth shut, but hey, not in the mood to try something new.

I carry concealed and have for most of my adult life. I am not a Christian. I won't state my religion here because it should not and does not make a damned bit of difference in how I exercise my God-given right to be armed and protect me and mine here in (what's left of) The United States of America. There is no way I would patronize a store owned by such a bigot.

As the question did not stipulate that only pro firearm carrying members can respond, I will risk the ire of fellow forum members. (I was berated for offering a comment in another forum)

No I don't have a Concealed Carry Permit. In Australia only crooks conceal their firearms. Before you all get carried away, this is not a statement referring to other countries!!

Handguns are only permitted for very specialised conditions. These are for LEOs and specialised security guards (armoured trucks etc).

I would also venture that most of us are happy with this situation.

Please don't go on about us not being able to protect ourselves etc. This is our situation.
