BX24, two weekends and a few weekday evenings for just 8.5 hours so far. MMM gets the job done here in about 40 minutes vs about 3 hours to mow then sweep with the old 38" craftsman 12HP mower.

So far I've been able to get home on Friday's early enough to mow then switch out the MMM and put on the BH and FEL for weekend fun.

This afternoon between rainstorms I found about an hour of nice weather and managed to clear out about 1500 sq. ft. of multiflora roses, kudzu vine and generally nasty brush and weeds. Yesterday it was moving boulders around to put a low stone wall around a new flower bed. Everytime I use this thing I am more amazed at what it can do!

Interestings posts. I have enjoyed all the comments and pics.
'05 BX1500 had 75 Hrs when I bought it in early '07 from Brady Barlow and I now have 108 Hrs. Mostly mowing, but a few ton of rock and block moved with the FEL and BB building an entrance to the shop and some retaining walls.
Take care,
TPS

B7800 -- Just about 3 years old -- 470 hours. Used for various tasks. Bit of logging, moving dirt and snow. Some mowing.

L39 -- Going on 2 years old -- 450 hours. Mostly backhoe, trenching, logging, stone wall building, etc.

Maybe I should get a real job and not spend so much time on my tractors :) .

Well, they're not true Kubotas, but the engine are pure Kubota. I'm talking about my Grasshopper ZTR mowers. My 1999 928 (28 hp Kubota diesel) has 1612 hours on it and still runs perfectly with absolutely no oil use between changes. Heck, it really doesn't even get the oil all that dirty in 100 hours to be honest.

One good thing about this is that I'm pretty certain that particular mower has found a new home. Since I don't do any commercial mowing anymore I don't need all these mowers. I will still have a '01 Grasshopper with a 21 hp Kubota diesel with around 780 hours on it and an '06 Grasshopper with a 22 hp Kubota engine on it with 110 hours on it. Just like the 28 hp Kubota, neither of the smaller hp Kubota diesels show any signs of wear, reduced power or oil consumption.

As a quick plug for Kubota and Grasshopper mowers, I've had absolutely nothing break in over 2500 combined hours on any of them. Whatever pumps are used in the "Gemini" series Grasshoppers are brutally tough just like the Kubota engines. Now that I think about it, the 28 hp Kubota mower even still has the original deck belt on it!

Oh yeah, I do have yet another 3 cyl. small Kubota diesel! My RTV1100 has a 25 hp Kubota diesel in it as well. It only has 17 hours on it though. :) I'll be plenty happy if the engine and transmission on it prove to be as tough and dependable as the old Grasshopper Kubota!

2001 13k BX2200 451 hours MMM & tiller, replaced the power steering hydro lines one at a time 2 summers in a row, replaced the 2 (yes TWO, 1 under floor) fuel filters 3 times (now use a fuel strainer), changed hydro fluid 3 times with change of filter and strainer last time, on second set of blades, only way to get front tires too hold air? Green slime!?!?!?, Changed oil 5 or 6 times (2.6 quarts) as well as oil & air filters, clean radiator and radiator screen every 3rd or 4th mow (4.5 acres) by hand but once or twice with water, fixed rumble in deck by tightening the left spindle nut, Never never ever use water to clean MMM ever, constantly pumping grease to the MMM fittings!, found the top grease plug to the mmm gear box laying on the deck once!?!?!? Have pulled the deck once while doing hydro strainer (remove left rear wheel) not too hard!!!! Put a Steering Wheel Spinner on a nice big red wooden one BIG help despite the power steering! Both rear caution lights ripped off long time ago by tree limbs (needs a cage around them), I have the top three point hitch arm rope tied in the up position to the rops, and the right bottom hitch fittings came undone all on its own once! Have used the 4 tiller two summers, but plan on using it next summer in my new retirement for some CLEAN tomatoes!!!!
Think that痴 it, I always thought I would get an old farmall for restoration and hobby fun/work but the BX2200 has SATISFIED that desire in spades!!!!
Thanks
John

2008 L5740-only about 7 hrs on it, 6 months old. Mainly use it for plowing snow, but have alot of earth moving for her this summer.

2007 M105X- 185 hrs on my business workhorse at my feed business. Use it for moving and spotting Rail Cars of grain. Absolutly amazed that a M105 will pull three rail cars all weighing about 220,000lbs each. All 4 tires are loaded and have 500lbs of suitcases up front. Use her for some plowing as well.
