How many HRS on your BOTA???

/ How many HRS on your BOTA??? #21
BX 2230, purchased March 2006, currently has 52 hours. In the first two months, I put nearly 40 hours on it, while using the FEL for a bunch of projects (building paths, regrading driveway, pulling stumps, grading platforms for benches and general landscaping work around gardens). Then, I needed to mow. Took off FEL, started to mow, didn't do much else, except haul buckthorn to the fire pit. Then the heat came, grass went dormant, too hot for chopping at buckthorn or projects with FEL (for me, not the tractor). In the past two months, I've put less than 10 hours on it.

Kubota Grand L-3130 GST with LA-723 FEL, three years old and 965 hours on the clock.

Has never been anywhere for any service as have never had any problem with it.

Here's a hardcore pic of an L-3130 stump removal with the FEL:

B2910, acquired late May 2004 ..... a little over 650 hours. I've used it to remove our old asphalt driveway (500' or 600'), topsoil removal and grading for the new driveway, grading and prepping the old driveway area to be put into lawwn, stump removal, pad prep for the polebarn, brush removal, running the chipper, drilling postholes for the electric fence around the garden, tilling the garden, side dressing the corn with urea, trenching for french drains, unloading a couple of concrete catchbasins from the delivery trucks, spraying the lawn, and, of course ...... mowing the lawn.

Now that's the kind of report I like to hear!!! I wonder how many hours the average Kubota tractor can run without major repairs??? 3000, 4000?

610 hours on BX22 bought 2001. BH Used for stump removal, moved many tons of gravel with FEL (44tons 2 weeks ago), maintain gravel drive, dig ditches, spray, till garden, over seed lawn, mow about 4 acres, etc. Air cleaner bracket broke once and replaced ,ok since. Replaced several hydraulic hoses. No major problems.

Now that is one big hole for that stump!:D

1993 B7100 hst Kubota with 2400 plus hours. Lots of welding and new cutting edge on loader, new loader control lever, rebuilt steering box, Broke steering arm on one front wheel, broke the frame where front wheels attach, wore out one set of front tires, broke the top bolt on holder for the three point hitch, new dynamo, two new seats, lost air filter cap clearing in heavy bush, found it much later in a dirt pile after a new one was in place, lots of filters and oil changes. Well used tractor for many different types of jobs.:D :D

2001 BX2200, 492 hours, two air filter brackets and the gas tank leak... nothing major, just upgraded to Gator Magnum blades, HUGE improvement in deck performance.

My neighbor has an '89 Grasshopper, 18HP "I/C" Briggs horizontally opposed L-head, unknown hours, but it's on its third rebuild of the engine... as a comparison to the previous post of the diesel Grasshopper. Very nice machine to mow with.

At least 1500 hours on the engine and at that time you'd just need to check the individual injector pressures and set the valves. Probably 3,000 hours before any real serious mechanical maintenance is needed. Keeping the oil filter changed every 100 hrs, the air cleaner, and the hydraulic fluid filter are probably the best insurance for longetivity. Using all synthetic oils too!

Digging out stumps with the FEL was a major job prior to getting the L-39 TLB. :D
