I agree they are better, but it truely makes me mad to look up a problem to trouble shoot it, only to see problems with the Dodge Dakota brakes locking up on the 1988-2004 models (not a typo) or 2002-2008 chevy transfer cases. Why would a manufacturer choose to use a crap component for 5+ years (let alone 18 years). The chevy transfer case (pump rub, can google it) is caused by a $0.30 part, that could be completly fixed with a $19.00 part, but by the time you realize it, you have probably destroyed a $1200 transfer case.
I don't really want new fancy truck, I just want them to fix there problem areas. I don't want/need dvd, back up camera, or heated/cooled seats, I just want it to run with a minium of defective parts/designs.
