Have had my 2710 for 10 years and it has been trouble free 583 hours. Have a backhoe for it as well as a grapple plus many other implements. It has been an exceptional tractor for me. I don't have the rears weighted but always keep something back there and never felt bad even picking up large trunks and root alls with he grapple. You will enjoy as it should run good for you

"Hoarding" comes about when you have duplicate tractors for a single job class and you are the sole operator.

Maybe it would be better said that it is when you have more tractors than operators for a single job class.

Okay, I have an acre here to play with, One 8N and a L3000dt w/ 52 in rear tiller, plus gas rear tine tiller. Rich by some standards, Hoarder NOPE???

Couldn't resist. New to me Kubota B2710 with 480 hours I found on Craigslist. Bought it and brought it homer. Trying it out tomorrow on the tree farm and sending it to the shop for a professional service the day after. It has top and tilt and an open hydraulic valve - couldn't resist. Anyone know where to get good Kubota replacement seats. I'd like to hear from B2710 owners - assure me this is a good tractor!!

Guess I need 188 more acres! Seems tractors may be cheaper than land now, I wonder when that happened?

About the smell:

If you have a pressure washer with a soap dispensing option you can mix up a "light" mix of bleach solution and wash the snot out out of it in every crevice. We have some smelly equipment come in once in a while and that's how we deal with it. Works pretty well when you have to work on it quickly and don't have time to let it de stink.
