How quickly can it happen?

He moved pretty fast when he hit the ground. If he would have moved that fast to press on the clutch pedal there wouldn't be a video to talk about.

And that's why you use the drawbar to do the pulling and not the 3 pt hitch...
^ This.

I suspect most people run into this trouble when the connection point on the object being pulled is higher than the drawbar, causing the rear of the tractor to lift and reduce traction. We run into this when skidding large logs out of the forrest, I've already posted decades worth of photos such as, my cutting partner pulling trees that I've felled out of the forrest with his old Ford 3000.

When having to do so, I'm always infinitely more comfortable on an HST vs. a gear driven tractor. Whereas a gear-driven tractor will walk itself right over if you can't get to the clutch quickly enough, at least an HST will halt its wheelie climb and likely sit itself back down, as soon as your feet come off the pedals.

Oh, and here's my cutting partner, with one of the hundreds of logs I felled and cut at his property, prior to his passing. It always made me nervous seeing him do this with that old manual transmission Ford, but he'd been doing that for maybe 60 years at this point, so it really wasn't the place of this then-young guy to be telling him any differently.

Before anyone asks, he died from a hereditary disease, not a tractor rollover.

Thousands of people are filming themselves every day. That's why we see so much these days. Three camera setups are pretty standard for making videos.

But how did they get all those camera angles?

I figured it was a staged event as I have seen the same thing in safety videos before. There is a reason the drawbar on tractors is as low as they are.

Start this one around 3:40

If he made a post that stuck up 15 ft above the tractor to connect his chain to, perhaps that would have made it more obvious to him what was going to happen by moving the attachment point above it's center of gravity?

What was told to me and the notorious Yanmar Roll over wasn't actually a roll over. The Prev. reply pic!. The kid was pulling fence posts with a chain wrapping around the rear drive wheel. Using it for leverage! Apparently the tractors Throttle linkage came loose or was loose and stuck wide open and killed the kid. This is true! My mother his bus driver and there that morning when it happened. Tractor on it's side screaming wide open what was told to me. Resue had to cut the fuel line to shut it down. The mother was a bus driver also.

The person in the video has a Youtube Channel called Heathen's Garage. He does use three cameras to include a drone that he recently purchased, a Go Pro, and his "good" camera. He likes to make fun of the mistakes he makes and performs normal tasks in a weird way as part of his presented persona. I watched his entire video of the incident and it does not appear to be staged - it could be considered staged because there was certainly and easier way to achieve his goal of moving the disabled tractor and he knew it. He said he was going to tow the tractor because he didn't want to carry batteries around. I'm sure he recognized the content would not have been as entertaining, so he decided to tow the tractor with the smaller tractor. In a later video, he simply hooks up batteries to the broken tractor, starts it, and drives it off. Pretty easy. No drama though.
