Speaking of the dog, I will miss her myself. Mom is 87 and I have helped with bathing her, taking her to the vet etc since my dad died in 1999. My brother and I visit every couple of weeks and Prissy (a Schnauzer) aways greeted us with vocal excitement. We knew she was terminal for the last couple of weeks, and was nearly 13 years old. I feel bad for Mom, it was her last pet and at 87 won't be able to take care of a new one. She specifically requested Prissy be buried on my place, so this what we had to do. She is buried near Fudge, our cocker who died 2 years ago, and CJ, my daughters 130 pound St. Bernard/Great Peerinees(?). Seems like life is clicking by at a fast pace, seems only yesterday these were all 8 week old pups.
