How to make the curve on a backhoe bucket?

Lots of good ideas shared. I will try and remember the search function when I get around to making a narrow bucket.. although I am liking the 15" bucket I am currently using so may not make another narrower one. We have clay soil so it can stick to the bucket, just afraid if too narrow that it would stick worse.

I remember someone here mentioned putting several lengths of chain along the inside back of the bucket to break the suction of clay soils.

My steel supplier has like a 100 or 500 ton press with 10 ft bed. He bent an 8 Ft long x 18" x 1/4" thick sheet into a scrapper blade in about 10 minutes.

he could easily make a 2 foot wide Backhoe bucket curved out of 3/8 or what ever you choose.

Also some of the larger fab shops can stamp it out for out in minutes - cheap and easy.
