Thanks for the pic's, Ruffdog, I have the 12x24 round top that was on it's fifth year now.
Just installed a new tarp "on top only" and you've given me a good idea on how to install tin etc.
Here's what i did to mine, I have a similar front door like yours,
Around the door frame, (wood) I ran 2x4's by 14' feet long towards the center of the garage,
they attach to a center post ( in cement ) and the another 10 footer that goes to a shed,
this is done on both sides, across those center post's ( at 14 feet) I have 2x6's that brace these together.
In the center of that cross beam, I have a "chain block" it has come in handy many times.
This set-up gives extra strength the shelter garage.
I was considering on buying another 12x24 shelter logic and throw the new tarp "on top of the old one"
and then using the new tubes and position them along side the old ones,
making this double strong, I may still do this next year and then, "cover it with tin as you have".
By the way, my set-up is bolted on "railway ties, never has moved and we have severe heavy winds in our area.
The 12' by 10' high by 24' round top is the one I have,
Love it, It's my work shop, I'll up some pics if anyone needs to see them.
Rick
