How's everyone doing with the SNOW

Hi George nice cab, where did you get it?

Just bought it and installed it yesterday. I posted in the Mahindra section for other owners since it is a reasonably priced cab.
I bought mine from RJPartsco.com. The cab with optional safety glass windshield was just over $900 shipped to my door. Much lower than others I've priced. This cab fits several Mahindra and Cub Cadet models and RJ sells cabs for other tractors as well. It took me 2 evenings after work to assemble which included making brackets to support my flashing light, installing universal headlights to the cab roof, making a bracket to mount the in-cab heater plus wiring.
The Cub Cadet 2400 seems to be about the same size as your GC 2400

Sweet, eeven with out the heater being out of the wind and blowing snow would be nice. Will have to look into something similiar.

I too, have not mounted my front blade [two seasons], in favor of the loader and rear blade. The combination offers umpteen possibilities, in a variety of situations.

When I remove my backhoe from my B26 I lose a great deal of traction, for obvious reasons. I realize I can add a weight bracket with suitcase weights, but would I still be able to add them with a rear blade attached?

I'd be doing great with all the snow moving if that pesky buried 330 gallon propane tank didn't get in my way! That got exciting REAL quick!! If you're moving snow for people make sure they point out EVERYTHING that may be sticking up but is covered with snow.

I have to say that this is my first year with my BX2200 with cab and a 2750B snowblower and it's very impressive. Here in Southern Maine, we've got some of the white stuff, and this rig blows the stuff well out of the way, no big banks adjacent to the driveway, warm and dry with the cab and the tractor doesn't seem to work hard at it. Very glad I spent the bucks.

My tractor was delivered on Jan. 7th with almost no snow left on the ground. Within hours of the delivery it started to snow and it seems like it hasn't stopped since. I had to clear some space in my front yard to make space for parking for my daughter's birthday party over a week ago. I'm glad I did, now I have some space to put the new snow. I really didn't expect to use my tractor much during the winter but I never expected to see this much snow in CT. I am glad I got it when I did, especially now that my snowblower just lost the drive gears!

Wondering how everyone's doing with all this snow, record snow here in the Northeast. I thought my plow setup was the cats *** but I had to put my bucket back on and soon realized it's the only way to go. When I first bought my blade I only had a few hours on the FEL, now that I have 500 hrs experience with the bucket moving dirt I don't think I'll ever put the blade back on (at least not this year anyway). Guess it's time to shovel the deck.

Not much snow at my house yet this year, so no extra side cash digging neighbors out.

When we are getting lots of snow, the FEL mounted snowplow works great so I can pile the snow up good and high. Much quicker than the FEL bucket for removing snow (been there, done that) and easier to deal with big snows/frequent big snows than the under-frame mounted plow.

Not doing very well with the SNOW. I've only had 2 inches and then 1 inch. No need yet to get the Bota out. The 55" last year was loads of fun and I hope I get more this year; it doesn't have to be as much but please enough to use the tools.

Same here, but it's been ok since I nearly froze to death last winter on the ol' open cab L3710. Since then I've been dreaming of a M7040 Cab tractor. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to make the purchase yet and the lack of snow this year has been a good. Next year will be different though because I'll have that new tractor for sure! I'll be waiting for the first flakes to fly!

Well all i can say is im glad you guys are getting the snow instead of us here in Idaho LOL:laughing::D:laughing::licking:we usually get around 110-140" of snow a season......now we have hardly anything left on the ground where i live, cept in the trees. my rear mount blower has served me well for years, but my new tractor need a new blower. ive been searching info about front blades, rear pull and rear push blowers and im more confused then ever. i've seen some of you say you had to remove the blades ...too much snow?? ill be doing 5+ miles of gravel roads next year. I'm now exploring the use of a front loader mounted snowblower with rear hydraulic power pack. PS:I just got an email from Buehler (FarmKing) that their coming out with an 84" front loader skid mount with power pack for next fall...cant wait to see if their costs will be reasonable.... i figure a front blade runs $2800 here with hydraulic.. a rear pull 84" blower about 8,000 and a good rear push blower about 4500. instead of paying 7,000 or so for both a blade and blower, maybe 10,000 for a good front blower would be ok......but those out there now want 12-14 grand for them. maybe some good old competition will drive prices down. the hydraulic box seems to be the most expensive part to these systems
