I believe this was discussed before, but for $595 AG makes this performance module that's supposed to add 30% HP & improved fuel use. Anyone with experience, is it worth it, increase power, any other modifications needed, etc.?
Thanks
I have a 2018 JD 3038e.

If it's a mechanical injection pump, no, you need to mess with the pump, not electronics. If it's an electronically controlled pump, sure you can spray more fuel in for more power. As long as you have enough air & can keep it cool enough. No way you save fuel & increase power at the same time. Anybody that tries to sell you something that does both is selling snake oil & I wouldn't trust any of their claims

i've always been impressed on this sub/compact site just how many owners try to inch up HP & FEL capacity. these are decisions that should have been made @ time of original tractor purchase.

& yes, i have upgraded my tractors a few times myself as a result of inadequate original purchases. if you really want more power, choose the tractor accordingly rather than gadgets or fiddling with the engine or relief valves, etc. that could put operator or machine at risk
best regards

I understand...but $600 vs $50K when you just need a little more power?

Your $$$ so try it and let us know how it works for you.
That was my OP purpose, asking those who have tried it, how it performed, etc.
I have 10 attachments for my tractor and everything is fine...except for example when I frequntly need to unload, say, 1,300# hay bundle from my truck It's close...but with forks added it won't quite make it.
To sell/trade everything I have and start from scratch getting larger tractor + equipment makes no sense. My understanding is newer Tractors are detuned for emissions. The $600 device I posted can be simply turned on when needed and off otherwise.
Buying another larger second tractor, new or used, just for a few jobs doesn't make sense either.

I don’t think that hp changes lift capacity. There are tractor series such as the Kubota L series that range in hp from 25-39, yet they all use the same loader and all have the same lift capacity.

Adding HP won’t make the loader lift anymore weight.

With that size and weight of tractor you would probably notice the ponies doing PTO work but doubt would benefit for ground engagement type work.
