I did shipping and receiving for a ten year period as part of my job, we had people coming in trying to obtain repair items and hardware for numerous brands of tools and equipment, plus they needed building materials....this was long before anyone had computerized inventories and online parts catalogs. Customers would try to describe what they needed and how the needed item looked, and of course most of them used different words for the same hardware item, none of which matched the catalog name. It made for some very interesting discussions with the clients, and it didn't help matters that WE were somewhat disorganized ourselves. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Yes I know about the RED ones and the various other colors... /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

If I remember correctly the RED one was the smallest unit of measure.

A bit off the subject post here but I have worked in the telecom industry for quite a few years. They are really big on abbreviations and acronyms and will use the same one for 2 or 3 totally different things. Very confusing.
