Manuals are very helpful. Just don't let your wife put them in a "safe place". I have been looking for that "safe place" for 2 years! :laughing:

Found my JD shop manuals in the filing cabinet among all of the owners manuals for kitchen appliances and curling irons, most of which we no longer own...

Definitely get the manual, even if you have a warantee forever, it never fails, the tractor will go down in the middle of a snowstorm on a Saturday and the shop won't be able to pick it up until next Friday. It can really save your butt.

I was not that lucky. I am fairly confident the "safe place" was the trash can. I had the service, parts and owners manual for the Kioti. I haven't ordered replacements yet, simply because I am accustom to not having them. I had to replace the outer PTO bearing and seal yesterday and managed just fine. My dad taught me when I was a youngster "if it don't fit, it don't go there". :confused2:

My dad had a different philosophy " if it don't go get a bigger hammer". And he had some big ones.
