Oh yeah, I'm going to be bush hogging all day today. Inside my cab, the temp will be 72 degrees with low humidity and the DVD MP3 player playing my favorite tunes. Also, no bugs, dust, pollen, or dirt will be allowed. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Outside? I think it's supposed to be in the mid 90's with high humidity. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Ouch, that hurt. I'm going to be baling with all that dust, pollen, 90 degrees + humidity. Can we borrow your tractor this afternoon? We'll fill it to the brim with fuel when done /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif Oh, we need you to deliver it too since it's too heavy for my setup.

We don't have to worry about questions like that. The next time our air-conditioner is turned off will be at least late September and probably October. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Eddie, everyone who attends the FBI National Academy is required to take their PT course. We started with a timed 2 mile run on a trail through the woods, late March - not bad, then had a 2 mile timed run at the end of the course to see what improvement, if any, there was. When it came time for that last run, it was so hot that they had us run around their oval track instead of through the woods, and they set up a sprinkler spraying across the track so that we ran through the cool water on each lap. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif And when I got home, I told everyone that if they ever saw me running again to call for help, 'cause I'd be out of ammo and whatever was chasing me was BAD!

90 degrees and 46% at 11:26. We're looking forward to another lovely day in Central Texas. I'm a transplant from Northern CA. It took me about 3 years to acclimate myself to TX. Now that I'm used to it I actually like it most of the time. It's way too cold in CA anymore. I used to wonder about the crazy Texans that came in for training wearing sweaters in the summertime. Now I are one.

Wow, what a nice, cool, dry day. Send us some of that.
Today 7:00am - 74 degrees, 90% humidity, and it only got worse through the day.

As of 12:00 noon, it's 95 degrees, 55% humidity. (the dew burned off)

3:00pm is predicted to be 102/49 /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

And summer is not here yet!

In my area, it's when you switch from "cool" to "heat". It seems like one or the other is on every day.
