Around here the Doctor won't give you antibiotics for a virus. They have signs plastered all over the Doctor's office indicating that antibiotics will not be prescribed.
I never heard that a sore back was a symptom. I guess I might have the COVID as my back has been killing me for a couple of days. It started right after we started moving our office at work to a different location. I just thought I was getting too old to be moving furniture and heavy boxes like a 20 year old. Treating a stubborn horse with a hoof abscess probably didn't help either. Maybe I should get tested.
Any idea why the signs? I know that antibiotics do not work on a virus, only on bacteria. I don't understand why a secondary infection. like bacterial pneumonia, wouldn't indicate an antibiotic though. Maybe the signs are for those who are unaware that antibiotics are not effective for a virus and think they ought to have them.
