You may see some of the others on the green side but not me. I chose the Orange side because they were $3000 less than Green and $2500 less than Blue. I didn't choose them because of an online catalog. I've stayed with them because of their great tractors (not perfect) and my local dealer. If Kubota closes then Green and Blue will go even higher. I've never used the online catalog so it doesn't mean much to me. If and when I do decide I need it, I'll complain with the rest of you whiners.:D If you feel it's corporate then email corporate with your complaints. Email addresses were provided. I see alot of speculations as to the reason and then I see acceptance that the speculation is being accepted as gospel. Maybe Messicks will provide their speculation as to why instead of running in and yelling "fire" then taking off. In fact, if so many of you are leaving the Orange fold I may go buy a BX25 today to help make up for the loss of business so Kubota can continue operating and support "through dealers" my currently owned Kubotas.:):) Who'll trade me a new/near new BX25 for a 40 hour B3200?

I'm setting here dreading the fact that I have to go out in the cold wind to plow the drive and I don't have a cab. John, I think you need to go pick up one of those orange cab tractors. With this snow and the cold you can post pics and make us even more miserable.

Hey guys, just a few claifiying things about whats happening. First, we fully expected that this was going to happen. We knowly broke the EULA for ours parts catalog software when putting this together. This is being enforced on us from a copyright perspective. Expect to see other online pdfs (kubotabooks) and other parts resources following shortly... we're the first since we did the most profesional job of it. Kubota is currently working on shaping a more clear internet policy and I suspect we'll see some of these services come back with time. Rightly, these are services that should be comming from the OEM, not from us. Service to our customers will not change. We can still email you any diagrams and info that you need, we simply can't post it for the world to see. The diagrams where a great addition to our service, but we can still help under served customers without them. I'm disapointed that they choose to make an example of us and wish that the corporate perspective was more progressive than what it is, but we have to work within the bounds of all our suppliers. Kubota is not the first to take issue with the ways business can be done online, and they won't be the last.

messicks, Thanks for the clarification. It sure helps. You are right, it does feels like they are making an example of you and it kinda a bummer to be that person. I am glad you reinforced the fact that your service will still be to notch. keep it up. Hopefully they not gonna make a big deal out of it.

I think Kubota would be better served if they did something about their sorry, over priced dealers like the local dealer in my area.I buy everything I can from Messicks and even with freight it's less money, but more important they are really nice, people who know what they are doing,as compared to the jerk with an attitude locally.I have down loaded parts manuals for all my Kubota equip.and this won't really hurt me.
By the way, do you all remember the B/BX seat fiasco?I sure do and still have a bad taste in my mouth from that.Kubota is just not very customer oriented and if you like their products you just have to accept that fact.

I've been getting slamed with emails and stuff about the 10% off though the 16th. Just a reminder that I'm a salesmen, I don't work in parts. There are over 80 people who work here, 35 of which work in parts and are way more knowledgeable than myself. I know it can look like I'm the whole company, but it takes a team to do what we do. You can get real help by emailing parts@messicks.com or calling 877-260-3528.

Darn Neil, and I thought you were a one-man band. Oh and by the way the parts people are great.

Exactly. Say what you want but the year is 2010 and this little thing called the internet is not going away. The earth has gotten a whole lot flatter lately.

I am not sure the Asian corporate culture has quite caught up with the new reality. Buy Orange again? You bet. Unless the big Blue Oval decided to put Americans back to work building tractors again. In my dreams.

Here's an easy fix. Took me all of 5 minutes.

Step 1: Go to Messicks web site.

Step 2: Punch in your model number.

Step 3: Print out all parts diagrams you think you may need.

Step 4: Continue to order your parts from Messicks.

Good thing I bought my IPC & Manual from Messicks a while back.

I really like the dealer I bought my machine from, but they have no on-line presence, they're about a 50 minute drive (one way) and are only open 'till noon on Saturday. If I need a part I either need to take time off from my day job at Cubicle Farms or burn up the better part of my Saturday seat time.

Messicks is much easier, faster, and very affordable for me. Throw in the fact that they're pleasant & helpful and it's not a hard decision where I'm going for my parts.

It's unfortunate that a great dealership gets whacked in this, but they're still a great dealership and they still have my business. Maybe they'll give a discount to anyone who buys an IPC from them? Hint - hint.

It's also unfortunate that K has decided to defend their copyright at the expense of customer convenience.

I'll stop yapping now.
