Question for you? Do you have a keyless start or key? Have you entered the control panel configuration to see if maintenance reminders can be enabled / disabled there? Like you can with 2 speed, tire size, etc?

Do you have the key sequence to go into control panel configuration mode? I can send it is you need it

I have the key start. I have tried every combination I can on the control panel. The only thing the manual gives instructions for is reset password. Yes, please send the key sequence.

Here is the key sequence to enter the control panel setup. It does not say anything about controlling the service hours display so if you cannot change it here then it must be an internal parameter that can only be controlled by service with their PC software.

Let us know if this has any impact...

No impact. I have the manual this page is from. I'm beginning to think I'm beat. Looks like I have to go to a dealer with the PC interface to have it reset. Thanks everybody for all your help.

I can give you all the info.

I have a 5600 the left front tire is wobbly. It appears that a bearing is out. When I look at the schematic on line it looks like the bearing comes with the hub. Do you have to order the entire hun or is there just a bearing to replace.

Thanks
Mike

The first Toolcat came out in 2003, the A Series. They are now selling the G Series. Many differences between the Series.

If we new what Series you have, someone might be able to help.

Agree with Xfaxman. Send us your serial number here and we can see what series machine you have and go from there...

I have an "A" series Toolcat, it has about 700 hrs on it. I recently purchased and during trials did not notice how sensitive the hydraulic controls are especially the down boom valve. My brother has a "G" series and its night and day. I have attempted to adjust the joystick stubs over the valves, but to no avail. I had the float valve replaced as it did not work when purchased. When I call the dealer they did not know of anyway to fix the problem and said just replacing the valve should not have had any effect on the control.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

i am considering purchasing or leasing a Toolcat for my ranch. i need to know your experience and advice as to which model i should try. the 5600 or 5610? i have tractors with PTO and FEL also. the Toolcat would be used as an all around chore machine moving hay into feeders repairing the ground around tanks, pulling a cuber for feeding during the winter. fixing fence mowing brush, spraying weeds and fly in the summer months and more if i can think of it.

If you are going to do a lot of mowing, get the 5610. The radiator is up out of the dust.

The PTO on the 5610 is a hydraulic motor, so if you already have a small brush hog it should handle it, but keep an eye on the hydraulic temperature.

If you are doing a lot of mowing, get an out front mower, so much better.

I wondered if they had sold it.

Tell Ray I said hello.

Start a new thread when you get it.

i asked him to figure a rental for 6 months on the 5600 first to see if i like that model. i could sure use the bed for a lot of stuff but that three point and PTO on the back has me thinking. i use a herd seeder for grass seeding my pastures and it requires a PTO,but i have been looking at hydraulic motors 540 rpm with the pto shaft and think i could convert it to a front mount on the 5600. just thinkin!

Be sure you use a cushion valve to slow and stop the motor.

Yes Exactly !! Thank You... i guess i need to think of the high flow as a remote PTO. i can always put a farmboy on the back if i really need a three point. has Bobcat fixed the overheating problem on the 5600 radiator plugging issues. all of my acres are grass native grass pastures so i don't need to blow out the radiator several times a day.
