So, here you are trash talking on a Deere forum...I wouldn't waste my time doing that on a MF or IH forum...

You're the one that brought the conversation here by outright misconstruing my words in an attempt to get your buddies to back you up.

Hey PPBoy, maybe we just like green and don't really care for bargain shopping. And last I checked there wasn't a Yanmar dealer 3 miles from my house.

HHnngh I said PPBoy HHnng hhnng

Good. No, that's great! What's the problem here? What does your post have to do with anything? Pardon me if I forget to laugh at your joke.

What did he say that was negative about deere? I don't see where he was "trash talking" on here or even on the other thread. I don't really want to get into a argument but on that other thread you yourself were the one who started talking trash about other tractor brands and their owners. Then you came to the John Deere forum looking for support from other JD owners by twisting what was actually said in the other thread. The worst part is that it all started over you feeling slighted by your salesman not giving you a notice he was leaving.

God must love stupid people; He made so many.

I love this saying...reminds me of "Never under estimate the power of stupid people in large groups"

I don't recall PoorPlowBoy saying anyone was stupid for buying green tractors (and just so you know, John Deere isn't the most expensive Green tractor on the market, that honor falls on Fendt and I think Claas is second, heck, even Deutz Fahr cost more then JD around here). He also wasn't telling anyone to buy a Yanmar. So why the childish play on his name?

A newbie? You really do have an entitlement complex :( I didn't know the TBN rules were modified to include post limits before new members could disagree with you. For the future newbies and such, can you please post how many posts they need before they can disagree with you? Also, since post count matters so much, I guess you can't disagree with anything I post either since I have something like 3x more posts then you do so I guess that means I am special:rolleyes:

Oh, yeah, I own 2 John Deeres so I really am special

And you know this for a fact and have proof to back it up????

Kubota is held to just as high of a standard as any other mfg in this country. I am sure they are NOT lying about any of their numbers any more so than the next company.

So unless you have concrete proof to back up your statements, you may not want to come on a forum (that was actually started as a kubota forum) and has a TON of VERY happy kubota owners and start shooting off your mouth about kubota. That is a very quick way to be a very dis-liked member.:confused2:

TractorData.com Kubota M120 tractor information

During official testing, the Kubota M120DT failed to meet claimed hydraulic flow and three-point lift, with the basic hitch lifting 3,280 pounds (instead of 5,200).

Its not always horsepower, but out of the few Kubota tractors Nebraska tests, some claims have been proven false. And without being Nebraska tested, who is making sure the numbers are not fudged?

And, just because someone is a newbie to the forum, doesnt mean they are a newbie to tractors.

I am sure, there are newbies here that have more experience/knowledge about tractors than some members with thousands of posts.

Personally, I treat ALL newbies as if they were experienced/knowledgable, UNLESS tehy explicitly say otherwise. And the more "vetern members" of the site...I have been around here long enough to form my own opinions about them. There are some members here that have thousands of posts, and I wouldnt trust their "tractor" advice as far as I could throw it. Where as a newbie, I will assume has tractor knowledge, until stated or proven otherwise.

Post count means nothing to me. Just becasue you socialize, blab alot, and not really participate in really any technical threads, doesnt make you a "veteran" in my eyes when it comes to advise. It just means that you enjoy socializing, ad theres nothing wrong with that either.

Since you seem to be a JD dealer, bashing a kubota that was tested 12 years ago, let me care to enlighten you a bit

JD 4320....TTL test reports/JD Deere

also applies to 4520 and 4720

REMARKS: All test results were determined
from observed data obtained in accordance
with official OECD, SAE and Nebraska test
procedures. This tractor did not meet the
manufacturer's claims of 3130 lb (1423 kg) lift
capacity at ball ends nor implement pump flow
of 12.0 GPM (45.3 l/min). For the maximum
power tests, the fuel temperature at the injection
pump inlet was maintained at 167oF (75oC).

JD6215...http://tractortestlab.unl.edu/Deere/JD_6215.pdf

This tractor did
not meet the manufacturer's 3 point lift claim of
5028 lbs (2280 kg

JD7130...http://tractortestlab.unl.edu/Deere/JohnDeere_7130.pdf

This tractor did not meet the
manufacturer's 3 point lift claim of 7450 lb (3379
kg), with 75 mm cylinders. The manufacturer's
claim of 35% torque rise with the 2V-CR PowerTech
E engine was not verified.

JD 8335R....http://tractortestlab.unl.edu/Deere/8335R.pdf

This tractor did not meet the manufacturer's claims
of 44% torque rise nor 12% power bulge

This kinda gets a bit redundant after awhile. I am sure there are more, but I got tired of scrolling through them all.

The point is...they ALL fudge numbers a bit. And fudge isnt really a good word. Because honestly, the MFG doesnt test these tractors. Most of the numbers are derived from calculations and estimations. And its NOT just JD either. You can find models of ALL makes that fail at something or another. But seriously, open your eyes. kubota may not be perfect at everything, but dont be naive and think JD is:confused2: or any other brand for that matter.
