Cletus99,

Did you receive the letter of explanation???? I didn't see if you had?? If you did get something....that sucks.....BUT....if you did NOT....it is time to lawyer up and inform Agricredit that they violated Federal Law and you are taking them to court. Apply some pressure on them. I think a free set of implements would be a good goal and then worst case....settle for a 60, 72, or 84 mos 0% loan on a new Kioti for violating your rights......just a thought.

Yeah....the dealer should have followed up immediately just to make sure. Like other's comments.....nobody cares about customer service as much any more. The lady could've had a bad day but she can't let that impact her job performance especially when it is dealing w/ customers.

Bummer all the way around.

It hasn't been long enough to recieve a letter yet. It usually takes a few weeks. I've recieved them before when purchasing a new car when the dealer runs your credit through different banks. Which is another reason I usually try to get preapproved through my credit union first before car shopping to prevent that. Although, Ive done that before too and thought my credit union was giving me a low interest rate, but the dealer got me almost 2% less than that. So sometimes it pays to shop around, even for finance rates.

Sorry to hear how you were treated. I'd want to see a copy of what was submitted to Agricredit, to see how the purchase was listed, if the implements were included anywhere or missing completely?
I'd also want to make sure that the denial does not show up on your credit report. I had to work a similar screw-up out with Volvo finance when they cashed my check but reported the payment as late to the credit bureaus, even though that was not true. It took a lot of work but they eventually came through. You don't want a false denial haunting you, and it's totally wrong and from incompetent lazy 'workers' lack of work ethics. JMHO.
Hope you do get the Kioti tier 3 DK-40, it's an awesome tractor! And it will lift up your to be traded other orange tractor for delivery to your dealer.

I would have to agree that I think this is a dealer responsiblity... at least a good one. I would be pissed about the rejection on your credit report. That will lower your score. I would work this them to remove it. Maybe a deal for the dealer to but your kubota and get what you originally wanted.

Yup, there will definitely be a negative remark on your credit report.

I talked to the dealer today. The guy I deal with is out of town this week. He's going to call me when he gets back. I'm hoping we can work out some kind of deal. I could deal with his brother if I wanted, but I'd rather not. I've been dealing with him for a year now and would prefer to continue working with him. I don't blame them at all. It's all done electronically and some how the loader and implements didn't go through when it was sent to Agri Credit. It was a computer glitch on that part, but the rude lady at Agri Credit failed to contact the dealer and should have noticed the error according to her supervisor.

I think I would be inclined to deal with someone that is willing to help you....This guy dropped the ball, and didn't care enough to follow up...I would deal with anyone but him....TIFWIW

Strange things happen with lenders. We recently purchased a 1 year old Suburban. A couple of weeks after the deal was done I get a letter from a lender stating that my credit application had been denied. Reason - one of the cosigners had no file at the credit bureau. Same letter placed my credit score at well over 800.

Funny thing is I have been married 36 years and every single time we borrowed money we did it jointly. No reason for my wife to "have no file". And so what if she did, seems if one party has an 800+ the other party would not seem to have much bearing on the ability or likelihood of repayment. This kind of made me mad. The dealer didn't mention it, and we got the best interest rate available.

Worked in the auto field for a long time. Simple truth is someone at the dealer did not do their job. The "deal", was written up wrong. It is like selling a Ford mustang -it could be a 4 cyl two door, Or a convertible GT v-8 automatic, with a/c and power windows, locks and leather seating. Either that is what happened or your credit has some improper info on it. Salesman should have followed up for you and him both. He may know something and is still legally not able to say. It is a shame but that is how it really works.

Another thought on the good credit thing. Many times people with really good credit end up paying to much for a item. Their credit says they will be good for it. If you have so/so credit the lender will only go so much on a item because your credit may mean that they end up having to take it back. In a case like this the dealer and everyone works very close to cost to make the deal doable. The person with poor credit is protected by the lender from paying to much. Strange ,but true.
