Imatch with mower

Hi guys, and gals.

I'm new to this forum and new to tractor world. I recently purchased a used 2004 John Deere 4115. It has a 410 FEL, 60MMM, ballast box (empty and brand new) and a 53 inch blower. The machine has 480 hours on it. I paid $13,000 for the machine. It also has the Imatch on the 3 point hitch. The dealer will be delivering it tomorrow. I've read just about every thread on her pertaining anything about my Tractor..:laughing:

What i'm wondering is...Has anybody modified their blower to be compatible with the Imatch system? My blower is a 2001 model...and not compatible.

Also, is it o.k. to leave your ballast box on while mowing your lawn?...just curious.

Hello bad 1k and welcome to TBN

I can't answer your blower question,I'm sure someone will. As for the ballast box,it goes hand in hand with the loader,especially if it is weighted,no loader,no ballast box,and rule of thumb,remove the ballast box before the loader

I have not modified a blower, but many other things to fit my iMatch! If you have the tools and the skill it is certainly worth the time and effort.

As for the ballast box, take it of...it takes what? 10 seconds with the iMatch? Take that loader off also

then you can see how nimble your machine really is for mowing.
