Kubota BX 25
Been lookin for a tractor and looked at the CK29 really hard and had my mind made up until today when I stopped by a Bota dealer and he offered me a B7610 for the same price as the CK20HST. The Bota does have more PTO HP and a 24 HP engine, just that it looks like maybe the Kioti is stronger built. PTO Hp is a big concern for the attachment I am going to be using but I almost feel that the Kioti being almost 600 pounds heavier maybe the better way to go. I dunno any ideas?? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I have to wonder about the Kubota being the same price as the Kioti. Possibly you can get a better price on the Kioti as they are usually less than the 7610. The B7510 is a closer match, and here it was $2000 more than the CK20HST I bought.
You don't mention what the whole deal is, but keep in mind that usually if you're adding a front end loader, Kubota charges extra for the hydraulic valve and joystick, Kioti includes it.
I found the Kioti to be more substantial, and liked the extra weight it offers.
Both these tractors are a good choice, but I prefer the platform style over the ladder style of the Kubota, and the extra weight = better traction without having to add weight.
The extra HP is a good thing, but I suspect I'd still go with the Kioti for myself. John

The attachment I am going to be using is a RotaDairon Stony 90. It is one of the smaller ones. The Bota deal was a B7610 with loaded r4 industrial tires and a FEL for 14000. I am thinking the weight of the Kioti could be a good thing and also I noticed the floorboard on the Bota seemed flimsy, well I am a BIG boy though but when I looked at the CK20 it seemed stouter..

I think your starting to answer your own questions. Pound for pound and dollar for dollar I think you know what the answer is. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif Good luck. Gerard

Im on board with everyone here as well. The CK20 TLB in my opinion is more online with the B21 Kubota, but OH A WHOPPING 10 Grand cheaper! The other B series machines just dont have it. I know the B21 is more Tractor, but if you look at the actual specs, it really isnt all that much more... I have been working mine pretty hard now that we are starting to warm up, and Im really glad I saved the cash! It really surprises me (and my customers) every time I use it. Now, the hard part is finding time to snap some pics for everyone!

If I were you, I'd go for a CK25 and you should be able to get IT for $14,000 with FEL. You'll get the higher PTO HP, and have a larger frame tractor which should handle the RotoD very well.
Check it out because you'll get a whole lot more on the CK25 i.e. telescoping hitch arms and stabilizers, cup holder etc. It's really a fine tractor and just isn't that much more than a CK20. In my opinion, it beats a B7610 all the way around. John

First, I'm sure that I'll get rocks thrown at me for this, but I don't think either of those tractors is suitable for a Rota Darion, at least not the models I am familiar with. Now I don't recall seeing the Model 90, but I am moderately familiar with the model 120 and I am just guessing that the model 90 is a smaller version. You need PTO hp to run those things. Simply put the CK20 doesn't have much PTO hp. The B7610 has more, but it is still under 20 PTO hp. Unless that model 90 is pretty small, then I would serious wonder if you are putting too much of a load on the PTO with that type of an implement.

I think you really need to research that implement and find out what the required PTO hp needed to properly power it is. Then let that narrow down your tractor choices.

As for the tractor comparision, the B7610 is a lightweight machine in the Kubota line up of tractors, it is designed to be light. Kubota does make heaviers small machines, you just picked a light ladder frame unit. The CK20 is designed to be heavy. Both, I believe, are very good quality machines.

Thanks for all the input... The RotaDairon is a small 36' model that uses between 16 and 25 PTO HP. The reasoning behind wanting to stay small was to use it in smaller yards and such. Bigger tractors can't get into those places well. I talked to a couple guys that work for Rota Dairon and they say ya it is low hp but go slow and I should be fine. So that is why the Bota raised a question as I noticed it had more ponies, but also noticed that it was very light. So I just was looking for input. No I won't throw rocks... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Really appreciate all the comments.. Thanks
