MTNVIEWRANCH, aka Brian, can give you a first or second opinion on remotes. He is our in-house expert and vender.

Brian is a little shy but responds to questions such as:

WHAT REMOTE SETUP DO YOU RECOMMEND FOR A KUBOTA MX5200?

WHY?

CAN I INSTALL THESE REMOTES MYSELF?

Jeff, I will certainly ask him. Did you get your equipment from Futch's? I bought my mower from them and they seem like they are ready to deal.

I do not know where Murph-------- is today, but he would certainly have a succinct, valuable, opinion about what you need.

I buy some implements, usually Land Pride, from my local, esteemed, Kubota dealer.

I buy some implements from web venders, of which ETA is one of the best. ETA's video demonstrations are exceptionally informative. Travis and Mike are both helpful.

I also like Iowa Farm Equipment: Iowa Farm Equipment but no videos.

I think it is wonderful that I can order occasionally esoteric tractor stuff on a credit card and three days later the esoteric attachment or implement arrives at my property in very rural Gilchrist County on a sixteen wheeler. This is a great country.

I am demanding about quality product and quality customer service, somewhat indifferent about price.

It is a great Country, and it is great to do business with folks that are easy to do business with. My local dealer is hot and cold, I hope I catch him on a hot day!

Thanks

One last thing, and you can take it for what it may be worth. Get ALL the aux hydraulics that you can. 3 rear remotes and a 3rd function of some kind, either true or diverter type. ;)

Truer words have never been spoken. And get at least one of the rear remotes with a float function.

Not trying to confuse you on options, but if it were me, I much prefer a 3 point tree puller. Way easier to see what you're doing and more lift capacity. I considered a tree spaid or a root bucket but figured it would take 5x as long guessing where you're digging (unless you had a cam up front).

This combined with a grapple would the perfect setup IMO. I sit back and listen to the radio while I plug away.

My wife's cousin built mine but you can also buy them and have them made for 3pt

That 3-point hitch tree puller would be great for small trees without a canopy, but wouldn't work for larger trees or even smaller ones that were too bushy to get within reach of the trunk.

For example, I'm pulling up cedar trees. They are far too bushy to get close enough to use that tree puller.

That is exactly what I was thinking. I think I will have to wing it without one of those.

I am also considering the Grand L line. Got a lot more research to do...
