Installing ceiling in a 10' high garage bay

Usually you put the ceiling up first so the wall boards then hold up the edges of the ceiling.
1*Any reason that you started with the walls first?
2* Did you use nails or screws? Dusty

1*I Needed the partition in place to get the width of the ceiling. The trusses are 4' OC

Later plans are to partition the rest of the building into 3 rooms.
One of those rooms will have a ceiling and the other two will not.

My celling is 12ft, I got lucky buddy of mine picked up some racks from
Toy's R Us you know the green and orange ones, worked great for scaffolding.
When done he let me keep one rack also
FWIW here's a tip for ceilings, I used the same metal thats for the outside
of a poll-barn.
My building 30X48 so 14ft sheets worked perfect inside.
The real nice thing is this stuff is already painted, shoot it up and it's done!
I then had insulation blown in on top of it.
I had no desire to use the attic for storage.
This worked out very well for me, I bought brite white, no painting!
I used 3/4in OSB on the walls took 2 heavy coats of primer and 2 heavy coats of paint. I hate to paint!

1*That would be nice for walls too so you could wash cars and use a garden hose in there. Metal is a bunch more expensive than OSB though
2*Why such over kill with 3/4" OSB.I used 1/4" and it's a lot stronger and tougher than drywall so that's plenty good enough for me.
In my other Pole building I intend to use about half 7/16 and half 1/4 OSB.
3* I'm not going to paint mine - paint problem solved. If I was going to do something along those lines I would stain it not paint it, Much easier and quicker than painting.
People seem to think OSB makes a room to dark. But I can't see where it's any different than paneling plywood or and unfinished garage wall.

Awesome!! I like the painted OSB walls. You can't even tell it's OSB.

Yep, but I wanted smooth walls, I do all sorts of heavy work in this building
strong walls are a plus for me.

All the trim around the windows and doors is 1 1/2 in angle aluminum, again no paint.
The way I've got the walls painted with a high quality outdoor paint
once or twice a year I empty the building and take the power washer
to the whole place!
To each their own I'm just sharing what I've done with my building.
I spend a lot of time in this building so being clean, brite & stout is a must.
I may be a bit of a extremist too

1* Congratulations on a great job well done-very nice.

I didn't need this elaborate for my stall - It was just a place to get me in out of the cold weather this winter so I can tinker around getting some things done that I couldn't do otherwise during bad weather. I installed the heat in it about a week ago.
This is not the ultimate plan or stall on my final scheme of things.
I have another stall 16 wide by 22 feet deep to partition off in this same structure, for my BX 23.
This building is 76'long by 22'deep
When I get that one done the building will have 4 rooms in it.
1*36x22
2*16x22
3*12x22
4*12x22
I still have another 52 foot wide by 30 foot deep pole building to section off into 2 26' wide by 30' deep rooms for a 2 car garage in one room and a combination work shop and 2 car garage in the other room.
This whole building gets central heat and air.
