interesting. Does it work with top and Tilt? Anything that it seems incompatible with?

PA Hayseed,

I feel the same way you do about spending that kind of money. This is definitely an expensive product.

The plates for the Delta Hook are made with 5/16 inch steel with the brackets being made of half inch steel. This makes them very expensive to make. We have devoted a great deal of time to try and get the price down and we will continue to do so, but we will not use weaker material and sacrifice quality.

We're working hard on it, but steel prices are making things tough.

Thanks for taking the time to answer my question. I know that steel prices have affected almost all aspects of equipment/farming, and can appreciate that it costs more to make. I would certainly hope you wouldn't lessen the quality, it is why I found it interesting in the first place.

It works great with hydraulic toplinks. You don't have to have a HT, but we feel it actually makes things easier. We sell our own toplinks as well.

On your other question, the Delta Hook is not compatible with a post hole auger. We have also run into a couple of golf course implements that pivot back and forth even though they use a 3 point hitch. Outside of that, it will work with almost all 3 point implements.

PHD isnt a issue for me so that's fine.

How about things like a brushog which has a "floating" top link for terrain following purposes? Does the system "freeze" that or does it just "float" behind the attachment receiver plate?

Mention of specific golf course implements would be great so I could compare them to my own usage.

I take it the tractor mounted section goes on and off much like any 3 point attachment? ie 3 pins anchored by the 3pt?

On the brushhog, we've never had any problems with a customer not being able to use it. It should work just fine.

I don't know the exact name of the golf course implement. We only ran into it one time, but it was an aerator that had a standard 3 point hitch but also had considerable side to side movement of the PTO.

The control plate does go on the tractor like a normal 3 point implement. The video can show you pretty well how it hooks on, but it does work like a standard 3 point implement hook-up.

watched the video but the resolution was a bit fuzzy. High quality stills would be nice.

Does the tractor have to be square to the implement, or is there a few inches of fudge room?

My aerator is actually one of the things I'm wondering about. Not sure wat you mean by side to side movement of the PTO?

Any TBN discount, or commission to the site btw?

Hey Charles,

I bought one for my brother because he has some damage to his hands from an automobile accident he suffered years ago and has trouble hooking up implements. I liked his so well, I ordered one for myself. So far, hooking up on uneven or level ground has been no problem. It is very self aligning. You do not have to perfectly aligned. There is some room for error. I was really surprised at how easy it actually worked. The first time my brother hooked up to the disc, it took just a few seconds. It has really made life easier for him. He is retired and takes care of most of the garden work while my other brother and I are at work. We help as soon as we get off and on weekends but he needed something to lessen the burden of hooking up the implements by himself. I used the tax rebate to pay for most of the setup. He can now switch easily between tiller, disc, brush hog. I like it very much.

Best regards,

Sota

Does anyone have any experience with this product? I'd be interested to see how it performs.

I'm surprised you are asking that question - you've recommended it in two prior posts (http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/...-quick-hitch-attachment-wows.html#post1359994 & http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/search.php?searchid=1474187) and you've even said you have a friend who has one. Why don't you ask him? I'm not trying to cause contention here but if you are affiliated with the manufacturer, you are making him look bad and if you aren't affiliated with the manufacturer, you are still making him look bad.

Yeah, I think I'm gonna try this system out, that looks so much easier than what I go through. And they are close enough to me that I can go pick it up.

I was really out here on the forum trying to decide between a Wallenstein Chipper and a Jinma chipper. I think this extra cost here is gonna make my decision for the Jinma a lot easier...what I save on the chipper, I spend on the Delta system. I'll be calling Ronald back now (Ranch Hand Supply)

I'll let ya'll know what I think. I knew it would cost me some money if I got back involved in this darn forum
