I like the idea behind this system but I feel it is too expensive. I have multiple tractors on my farm between category 1 and category 2. Do the hitches interchange between category? Could I use a category 1 plate on a 6' chopper so I could run it between either my Cat 1 Ford 1920 or Cat 2 NH TN65? Also, I have so many 3pt implements I could buy another tractor for what it would cost me to buy plates for everything. Then how much work is it to take the plate off the tractor? From time to time I borrow friends implements or rent the county No-Till drill where they do not have these plates.
The more I think about it, this system appears to be mainly designed for the small guy with only a couple implements and one tractor. If my memory serves me I have at least 14 3pt implements right now and 3 tractors. At close to $290 for each piece it would cost me over $4900
I would much rather buy another 2wd 40-50 horse used tractor. Its a good thing I am a small farm as I would be scared to think what this would cost a larger farm that uses a lot of 3pt implements.
Now I will tell friends about this system though if I feel it would work well for them (older or handicapped who have trouble changing implements) and anyone else looking for a quick hitch setup. I like the concept but the cost is just not feasible for my and most likely a lot of other peoples operations.
Also, could you guys add some good videos to your website showing the hitch and how it attaches to the tractor as well as hooking and changing implements. I don't recall seeing any video links while I was looking it over.
