iPad vs ?

For quickly checking email and reading TBN while laying in bed, I like the iPad mini. For reading books, I prefer my Kindle Paperwhite. The wife prefers the KindleFire 7" HD for reading her books. We use the Kindle Fire HD 8.9" to watch Netflix when not in front of the TV. For everything else I use the Surface Pro 3 which is hooked up to a 27" monitor unless I need to do some actual work in bed, then it becomes portable. Overall, nothing touches the Surface Pro 3, but then, it ain't cheap.

In all, we have eight tablets between the two of us, plus three desktops and three laptops. Each has its advantages, depending on what it is you need to do. Oddly enough, we refuse to buy iPhones and pay ridiculous data fees, plus we don't want to turn into those people who don't know how to act in public without an iPhone in their hands. God forbid they should look up and smile at a stranger.

I finally put the TBN app on the Samsung this morning. The screen is easier to read but it's 3 times bigger than my phone. Only thing is I can't post unless I quote sombody and backspace their quote off. Maybe I just need more time with it.

Don't you have the right curved arrow at the top right?

I do miss adding some emoticons using the app but I've learned to spell some out to use. ;)
The TBN app has improved on the iPad in the last few months. No more errors. Thanx TBN!

Here's a screen shot of what I have. No curved arrow. Now my iPhone has the curved arrow with the TBN app.

What is the advantage of using the TBN app on, say an iPad, over simply going to tractorbynet.com in Safari? Does the app support uploading pictures?

Easier to get around IMO but done either way. Yes, you can upload photos stored on the tablet and easier as well.

Yes what pixguy said. Only problem is my app limits me to one picture per post. It locks up if I try two. That's on my iPhone haven't tried it on the Samsung.
