Is it just me or has Kioti products really taken off?

Good for you. The rest of us are actually a part of the US economy.

Actually, we're all part of the global economy.

So if the DOW went to zero, everything else would probably tank too and your money, even if it was in cash would be worth - nothing.

Back to the original topic. At the KITOI dealer meeting, it was announced that 2008 was a record year for KIOTI sales in North America. The overall US stats are down quite a bit, more remarkable when you consider that KIOTI does not compete in the large AG tractor business, which was the only segment UP last year. so yes. KIOTI is taking off!

That is good to hear bluechip! Thanks for the info. I think Kioti is very well suited to serve the needs of a demographic who probably want an estate tractor / toy as much as a real ag user. Certainly my dealer says his smaller units were flying off the lot to middle class hobby farmers with a few horses etc.

I also think the quality of the product is right up there - it is a primary reason I got a Kioti for the same money as an "economy" Kubota.

Dargo, as for the Dodge trucks, it depends on the dollar. When oil is up, the CDN$ is up. Just a year ago big auto and tractor companies were doing things to "block" Canadians like me going stateside to buy cuz the deals were so hot. One guy I know got a luxury rig in Texas and imported it and saved tens of thousands. No more, right now it's (the CDN$) in the toilet but it's good for our exporters. Too bad demand is down so much. We're all in this mess together!!
