Is it time to reorganize?

No......like it as it is. I start at the top, open each section, and if there is anything interesting, I read. If not, just go on to the next section. Do this just about everyday. I have learned a lot from many different threads.

Personal opinion: I like change when that change brings a benefit. Like for instance the USA going to the metric system (Snip)

Right now would be a good time to start.

My daily routine is...
1.) Log In
2.) Check "My Home" for updates to threads I'm subscribed to.
3.) Browse "Today's Posts".
So in the end, any changes to the sections probably wouldn't affect me that much anyway.

This is also basically how I do it. I could not care less about indivudual forums, I do not use that feature.

If the forums become a contest to see who can get the most "likes" it will be a lot less appealing place to visit.

I can'thelp but think that if the search function worked on this Forum, that it would be completely different. People might be more inclined to look at old posts related to their inquiry, and maybe add something, rather than starting their own thread. Seems right now that resurecting an old thread is taboo, but why? I knew popular forums that absolutely forbade starting a new thread without having done a search.

I completely agree. Old threads contain a lot of good information but the push is to start a news thread instead.

It should be a little of both. I came to learn about tractors. I stay because there are a lot of fine folks that I enjoy talking to and sharing with. The best of both worlds.

The Google Custom Search box at the top of every page does work. Type in as few key words as possible and use quotes if necessary:
