Rhino does make a 9' 6" hoe for the DK65. The Rhino 95 Model. Kioti does have a KB2395 that fits on the DK65 in the works. It is listed in the price book but say TBA.

Jon,

I've seen the Rhino hoe on Little's site. I was just curious as to why Kioti hasn't introduced their "own hoe". /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

The larger Deadongs took off well at first in New Zealand due to price and the Perkins engine. They have since dropped off in popularity do to reliability issues. Their new knik-name is Ding-Dong tractors it seems.

Well, let's see. You live in Canada, not New Zealand, and don't offer up any evidence to back up this statement. Just what "reliability issues" do you suppose were involved? Perkins diesels are certainly good engines, and one rarely hears of ANY reliability issues with US Kioti models. I'd chalk this statement up to another urban legend from someone who doesn't own a Kioti Tractor. John

MR WOODBEEF if this is a joke you definitely did not choose the proper place to post it. I believe that's exactly what it was a JOKE. Or maybe your trying to stir thing's up. Looking forward to your reply. CAG

I knew you guys would ask this question......Most of the problems are coming from the front axles, some of the trannies are causing problems also. Non-Daedong dealers are currently running gun shy of them as trade-ins. Quite a few of the Kubotas over 60 hp encounter the same problems up here. The bevel geared drive of the front axles seems to be the weak link on them, especially when used with a fel. I guess that is why the rest of the manufacturers except Belarus use outboard planetary drive on the mfd axles of utility tractors.

Yes, I presently live in Canada, but that does not prevent me from having friends in New Zealand. Nor anywhere else in the world for that matter. You see gentlemen I have a chat room that is inhabited with farmers,ag-journalists,and machinery dealers from all over the world. We have very open and frank discussions there about all brands and their problems encountered. With the large cross section of users,no brand is treated any better or worse then another. If it is good or has problems we hear about it there. That is where I gathered the Daedong info from.......take it or leave it,makes no difference to me. Just stating facts is all.

Facts? All you've done is pass on some information you read on a forum much like this one. I don't consider much, if any, of what I read here to be fact, but opinion. If the forum to which you refer is anything like all the other forums I've been a part of, then I understand that no matter what you say, people there will have an agenda. If you want to state fact, let's see official reports from someone who has done some type of survey, or a credible research comparison of bevel vs. planetary gears. In this country, bevel gears appear to be enjoying a great reputation, and I, for one, have NEVER read a complaint on any forum about a failure of the Kioti front ends with or without loaders. So, your facts are really nothing more than passing on gossip and opinion, in MY opinion. I leave it. John

If bevel gear drive is so good for mfd front axles over 60 hp,why do so few of the manufacturers use them on utilty tractors of over 60 hp? Notice I said utility tractors not CUTs!!

Like I stated above,my info does not come from forums like this one or any other. I do not pass on forum info, due to the fact you never know the credibilty of it., It comes from friends that do know what they are talking about and are very credibile You might want to go back and re-read my post.......if you choose to not believe it fine. Also if you want to fund surveys, and other research go for it. But tell me truthfully how much do you really believe people would think your surveys and assorted research was factual if they knew a Kioti owner paid for it?

My info was not posted against Kioti or Daedong, just pointed out there are some problems with them when used in agricultural venues. As for you never hearing about a b-d front axle failure,I guess there are not many around you used in mixed farming operations as loader tractors. Kubota has had these problems since the 50 series, but never saw any 30 series with this problem. They work fine in the barns,it's out in the fields they have problems with the fel equiped ones. Ever walked across many hay fields, let alone plowed fields?

Answer me this........how many hours have you put on your Kioti using it for agricultural purposes? Not many I'd imagine,so you own a Kioti CUT.....how does that equate to a Kioti utility that is being used day in day out as a farm tractor? Daedong like Kubota make very good CUTs,but their larger tractors have never caught on in agriculture, even though they are priced very good for what you get. Ever wonder why this is? I know I have............
