Is Kioti introducing larger models than DK65?

[Their new knik-name is Ding-Dong tractors it seems.] Woodbeef, I respect your point of view when it comes to passing along info that you gathered on problem's that may or may not exist on larger model's. You should be made aware of, if you haven't already, that the above comment can be offensive, not only to Kioti, but to the fine people here in the Kioti forums. CAG

Hey CAG,

I calls them as I sees them. The knik-name was posted to explain how they are being view in the land of the Kiwis these days. A few years ago Daedong took off like gang busters in NZ,so I posted the different outlook about them today.

Woodbeef has made similiar complaints against some of Deere's equipment and other brands. I hate to admit it but when you research what he says he's usually right. I may not agree with him on some things but his info. is usually pretty good. I am NOT saying this to stir anything up but just to let you know I have looked into his claims and he usually speaks the truth even if it isn't what we want to hear about our favorite brands.

Woodbeef's information is usually solid information and he certainly seems to know his stuff. The nickname comment is what tainted the post for me and made the information look less than credible and a bit out of character for Woodbeef.

Kioti appears to have confidence in the product, since they are now introducing the larger tractors into the Japanese marketplace. (According to the Kioti/Japanese version of the website.)

I notice that a lot of Kubotas also use bevel gears in their tractors, so if this is a problem, it's going to hit them as well. I'm still not buying that it's really a problem. Unless I were there in that country and saw for myself, I wouldn't put much stock in all this. No offense to Woodbeef, it's just that I learned years ago to find out for myself rather than relying on passed on information. John

I have no reason to doubt Woodbeef, he has always been a straight shooter and I have never known him to be tractor bias.
But he does say that these problems are with higher HP tractors in agricultural applications and does not apply to their CUTs.
If that is the case then maybe it is best if Kioti stays out of that market here in the US and stick with building what they know how to build well, compact tractors.

Rather than speculate, email the importers of daedong in NZ and OZ and ask for there 90 hp import figures since there first shipment. I am sure they will give them to you. then post them here as recieved

I have to agree with Richard when talking about Woodbeef. I have seen him called out, like in this thread more than once and never every have seen anyone prove him wrong. He has his facts straight. Like some of you, I may not always like what he says but he has always been right about everything that I have seen him write.
