Is this a Danuser?

Seller claims it's a Danuser, but can't find any plates or tags to prove. Has downpressure kit. Would like to buy, but not sure who makes it. Danhauser post hole digger 3pt

That is a killer deal, buy it and figure it out later. If you don't like it, sell it and make a few bucks. It probably won't be available long at that price.

Glenn Danuser just got back to me. How cool is that?
It's a real Danuser, but requires a PTO upgrade kit for $400. I assume this is a driveshaft with Cardan type safety cover?
Owner said he filled gearbox with oil and now it leaks. Should be filled with gun grease.

I just had knee surgery and woke up at 7 am. Usually up at 5 am, but exhausted from suregry/anesthesia. Someone bought it 15 min before I called him.

Because a Danuser F-8 is probably one of the best diggers ever built and at $250 with downpressure, it was a steal.

Quite a $ difference between them and the Speeco from TSC.
Are people breaking their cheepo units? I've only used my Speeco a few times, but down pressure was not an issue, getting it back out of the hole was, for sure.. I think down pressure would just get me in more trouble with it.

You won't get any argument from me on that statement. The G20/40's weren't bad units either. We modified many F-8 down pressure kits to fit them and they worked really well too.
