Another good method if there is room, place a steel scale in millimeters from the base surface to the bottom of the nut. Record the spacing value. Then you can return to the same position as before. If you are really picky, a vernier caliper can be used for being spot on.These pages are not for that exact engine but they should help describe what that limiter screw does. Keep careful track of how much you turn it so you can go back to where you started if things don't work the way you wanted. I have seen people tinker with that governor and then never be able to get the engine to run right again.
